this is gonna be my 2nd grow attempt with CFL lighting i have moved into a bigger crow cabinet and improved a few things but i know its still no where near perfect but its best i can do with what i have and it worked 1st time ... well sort of.
i am using a 125w dual spectrum bulb with a homemade reflector. the walls are lined with reflective emergency blankets, i am using Dobbies multi purpose soil. the feed i am using is. CANNAVEGA 1, CANNAVEGA 2, CANNABLOOM, AND BIOSERVIA BLOOM.

my 1st attempt went ok but very small yield as was started on windowsill and moved under a light when i bought 1, 5 week into veging. only got 14g of wet weed. that was with some bagseed also. this time i have the light and fan straight from start so should make life easier and i am also using kc brains northern lights special feminised seeds so hoping for a bigger yield of nicer smoke. i will get some pics up later today of the cab but seed are still germinating so will be another day or so until they are in soil. will keep updating as they develop.

anyone else using a similar setup ? let me know i could do with some advice.
cheers

The cab is looking good! Can that shelf that the pot is sitting on be lowered? Keep it close to the light at first, but you will need the room when you flower. You should try to straighten out that reflective blanket stuff to avoid heat spots. So far so good, and good luck!

yeah the shelf can be moved higher or lower depending on what i need it for.the seed just went to soil today hopefully in a day or so it will push through and i can get the light on it and upload some pics of the plant itself. i will try and smooth out reflective lining but its awkward to work with. hoping things go well and thanks for the advice. +rep

well 1 of my seeds pushed above soil during the night and is now about 1 1/2 cm tall but still waiting on seed case to fall off and allow leaves to start growing.
my 2nd seed the root seems to have dried out and died so looks like i'm going with just the 1 plant for now.

It looks like you might have a little bit of stretching going on(maybe its just the angle) but definatly lower the lights to prevent it from stretching, just make sure its not too close so you wont have heat issues

i thought that aswell but if i put it any closer the plant will get burnt i think as heat is quite high as u can see in pic with thermometer. has grown a bit more again today and starting to see another set of leaves forming although still tiny. will get more pics up 2moro.
