So how are the younglings doing? I figure they are getting all of papa's attention now that the big girls are sleeping 12 hours a day :D have a good day JSGamber
Well if you ask me, the younglings are sleeping too! Actually two of them have roots but are going really slow and the other two just look the same. At this point everything is perfect except for RH which I can't get above 50% with wet towels and water so now I'm spraying them as much as I can.

12/12!!! yeah baby!! now it's a party!!!!
Party?!? Did someone say party? Be right back while I clean my bong and put a few ice cubes in the smoke chamber.....okay, I'm back with a full bowel of Blue Dream. Ready??

This afternoon I'm going to get down to the bottom of the slow growth of the F-13 girls. Like you said GB, nothing I can do for my flowering ladies until they have sunrise.

Time to dig down into the netpots to see what's going on.

I'll be back.

That's the great thing about having them in different stages, you can bout always tinker, and spend less time overall with the plants, and more with the wife or girls, which leads to them being fed up with you and sending you to mess with your garden

My apologies to all of you if this is TMI. ;) Even at my age, I still become physically stimulated whenever I see the picture of a naked pussy. So lights just came on at 7:00pm and I decide to unbutton the blouse of my little harem and take a peak inside and capture some stills. So I get back to my laptop to check 'em out full size so the first picture I open up and zoom in and ... "boing". I can't believe it starts in 3 days so you tell me. Who's right? Big Brain or little brain? ROFLMAO

Pics is a little fuzzy (something I know way too much about, LOL) But it looks promising for ya bro! Once they start, you'll start to see 2 times the amount every day, so make sure you're zipper is securely fastened cause this could get messy!!!!!

Thanks bro. Took a bit to figure out Windows Live Movie Maker and how to get a voice track and music track combined. I had to edit myself out because when I pulled away the curtains there was my dumb ass face staring at the camera like a deer caught in headlights! As it turned out, I cut back in on the first frame after I had walked away to pick the camera up and the rest of the video is all one take which by luck ended with the music!! I must have been humming the song in my head while filming!! ;)

I must have had fun last night because I found a bunch of new pictures on my camera! Just a bunch of close up randomness. Enjoy!

How many do you know that can get an indexed finger sized stem to turn at 90* at the top of the netpot! :)

Here are the pictures from today and my light trap assembly. It's still in rough assembly. At two stacked washers there is a slight glow of light escaping in my test and this is before it's painted black. I'm hoping the flat black will maybe let me go to three stacked washers!! The way it is now I calculate that light entering the trap perpendicular is going to be bounced a total of 9 times before exiting so it should give me some leeway. Oh and yes those are Girl Scout cookies! :)

Just waiting for the first batch to dry! :)

Girl scout cookies are great, and girl scout pack leader or even more yummy

I know your going to hate me for this, but you should go ahead and get longer bolts. That space in the center is a huge void. Your idea to add 3 washers will really be wasted with the big void in the center that really wont trap light or flow air. you should be able to pick up some long enough bolts. I though of using tile spacers cut in the center for spacers, you could maybe even incorporate something like this to keep them from teetering around.

Overall great job though, I love the bolt running through it, I actually thought about it but thought it would be tedious as hell drillings all those holes and getting them lined up

Unfortunately, the right sized bolts are too thick once you get to 5", even if you get the specialty stuff from the ACE hardware bins. Now at first, my thought was the same as yours, but then a bit of high school geometry calculations tell me that it's the same. Get your pencil and paper out and you'll see what I mean. I have to eat but I'll show you why it is after dinner.

I know you can find long threaded rods you cut to length, I think they may be for lighting, or in hanging stuff from roofs. I will try and find a link.

ok, lets see if I can do medicated math.
current configuration approximately .25" x 11 spaces (including center diamond) = 2.75" * height of 5" (roughly) = 13.75sq"
my configuration, no center diamond. I assume there is 1.5" in the center diamond and that would allow me to add 3 more slats, but that would only add approximately .5" for a total of 3.25" * 5" = 16.25sq"

Now I am looking at it over the Internet, but I see .5" missing, which equals a little bit. I bet that new aluminum holds paint real well though.

It turns out I need to use one extra piece to get the same airflow. This is one of those optical illusion drawings I remember from an IQ test.

Hell while I had Google Sketch Up running I thought I'd show you the principal behind this light trap. It's the same story we've heard about how light loses luminosity each time it is reflected off of a surface. Also we have to remember that light only reflects away at exactly the opposite angle that it hit the surface (just like a billiards table). If we can increase the number of bounces as well as reduce the reflectivity of the surface it's bouncing off of we should get really good results. This is what I'm hoping to get with 3 washers of spacing...8 bounces against a flat black surface.
