yo ppl another update of the plants, i tried putting my ballast to 600w to see what would happen and due to my test some leaves on the plants caught some burns as you can see in the 1st picture, so they are still under 400w and doing well, i may turn it to 600w if the cooltube, extractor etc comes soon. also still waiting on this 5th seed it has sprouted through the soil but is taking very long to reach the top of the pot anyone had this problem before?

the grows going great! i just installed my cooltube, extractor fan and filter yesterday so i have now put the ballast on to 600w and they seem to be alright under it, got some real nice buds coming along and smells great!

damn i hope mine look that nice.. i am jealous. ill be doing mine under 265w of 2700k CFL as soon as they show hairs... wish it was a 250 hps though

thanks m8! lol i dont see why they shouldnt if it works out to be 265w? i'm waiting to see what kind of yeild they give me considering there ment to be grown in 1-3 gallon pots
i just ordered some vanilla kush seeds 4 my next grow to go with the bubblecheese and sour cream, gonna start germinating them on tuesday hopefully and get them in the tent vegging just before the ryders finish so they can be put to flower not long after

yea i will be growing mine in the bottom 2/3 of 1 gallon cranberry juice containers so they wont be quite 1 gallon in my case either. for this reason i am just as interested as you are in finding out the yield.. wanted to use bigger pots but with my setup (see sig) i am hesitant.

hmm looking at your set up, i would probably grow one and give it all the space, if you read the previous comments WOWgrow has one with a link to a guy who grew one plant and got 6ounces from it

yea i was looking at that link last night, but since im using CFL and no nutes i am not expecting 6oz/plant (unfortunately).. i was thinking of starting 2 in there and seeing how things go- 1 diesel ryder and 1 gnomo ryder

ahh i am gona try his method on my third grow and put 2 low ryders or autoflowers under the 600w in maybe 9litre pots and see what kind of results i get, how come you arent using any nutes?

dont feel like spending another $20 on this but as i type this i realize the $20 will probably be worth the increased quality and yield. there is a place like 25 min away from me i can get some tiger bloom flowering nutes. maybe ill do that when they start popping hairs. but also i figured since autos are sensitive to nutes and it is my first grow i wasnt sure it was essential. not trying to hijack this thread by any means but what do you think?

my opinion is that you use nutes, although i have not been growing long from what i have seen nutes play a very big role! i think the extra 20 will be well worth it, i have used vegging nutes and now using bloom nutes havent experienced any problems so far

yo ppl heres a quick update, started flushing them today and plan to cut them in 2 weeks, there smelling great and look good im expecting around half ounce per plant so maybe 2 ounces alltogether hopefully, i would definately advise anyone to put them in bigger pots! as i plan to after my next grow, i got the seeds planted for my next grow which should be good, which will include vanilla kush, bubble cheese, sour cream, rocklock and purple haze and i plan to scrog them, after that grow will be my next auto flower grow where i will put 4 autos in 12 litre pots under the 600w

thanks man! nice i took a look already looks good! i would of never been able to make something like that lol, and yes i will definately be checking your grow out and giving my input, i am interested to see how your grow goes in ur grow room

thanks m8, 3 of them are in 2.2 litre pots and one is in 3 litre, the bigger the pot the better the yield

I see why you want to try bigger pots hehe, I've been using 1.5L pots in the last grows and I'm going bigger now with 3-4L. I've got a 12-15L pot because I also want to try bigger pots to see the difference but I'll use that one in the balcony
