yeah i would definately advise using bigger pots, my friend got a diesel ryder grow going on and there using 6L and 9L pots and theirs look real nice and bushy, pot size defo makes a big different with low ryders, mine will be gettin chopped soon they are smelling great i cant wait!

Nice looking plants ya got going on there.....I'm a long time lover of the ryder strains, being my first auto grow several years back.....I have limited space available as I grow several strains of autos and non-autos simultaniously so I use 4" pots almost always ....... Takes a bit more care but does quite well. My yeilds are typically just under an ounce per plant. Just finished 4 lowryder 2 and 4 dieselryders...great hardy plants.... rep to ya for a good grow!

thanks m8!, several years back wow thats a long time u sure have got years of growing experience lol, was reading up on some of your threads how was the bud which you found the spidermites in, did it smoke good lol? also have u tried the method about growing 12/12 from seed?

my temp issue has been solved since that post but in short, my rubbermaid setup is in my walk in closet and there is no ventilation in there in the ceiling or otherwise. i was keeping the door shut for stealth but since no air can leave it ends up recycling hot air over and over. since the room is so small the hot air cant sufficiently cool before being recycled and picking up more heat. i built a fake wall in the corner of my room with my setup behind it. it blocks all light (my rubbermaids are clear) and now i can keep the door open about half a foot so cool air and come in through the bottom and hot out the top. temps staying around 79-82*

very frustrating but i got it dialed now (i think).

what are you estimating yield wise? predictions are fun

yeah i just took a look at yours they look fine, im subbd 2 see how it goes, and good you got your temp problem sorted. Regarding yeild hopefully 2 ounces minimum altogether but i wont be upset if i dont make that, im just happy 2 get some good buds at the end, but yeah it looks like they can give me more than 2 ounces and ill be real happy lol, what you hoping for from yours?

yeah 2 oz would be nice. like you, i'm not gonna be too picky in holding out for an enormous yield. this is my first serious attempt at a grow and since i am working with 2 girls now (plucked the third, growth was stunted) i am gonna hope for at least an ounce. i'm going to try and be conservative in my estimates so that maybe ill be surprised if i yield more. this is an interesting hobby.. cool to just have a little project that you gotta tend to every once in a while. most of the work involved takes place getting your setup dialed as well i have realized. now that things are stable i just water every 3 days and let them do their thing.

that's good shit i am sure you have close to 2 oz there. how bad does that smell hanging to dry? when i harvest my first crop in the next month i'm wondering how ill have to do it cause my flat mate doesnt know i got em going.

yeah, and the smells pretty stinky smells nice though, i would go with box drying method with the paper strips in your case, but im no expert!

i think when i chop i am going to hang them inside my rubbermaid that i grew them in but just have the lights off. ill keep the fan running since it exhausts through my scrubber. that should work dont you think?

yo ppl sorry about the long wait! just coming to give the final outcome of this grow, overall i got 80.3 grams of dry weight with most of the sticks removed as i dont really like to class stick as the true weight, so thats real close to 3 ounces, the smoke is nice buds smell great, however i think i could of flushed them better as i believe the taste could have been much nicer.

However just under 3 ounces of nice bud, im happy with that! learnt new things and now i can see how much i get the next time i do a autoflower grow but in much bigger pots, ive got another grow going which is currently in flowering which you can check out in my signature, this grow should be good! anyway thanks 2 those who tuned in for this grow and happy safe growing to u all!
