What's up RIU!!!

Today its day 25 from seed and 1 day after fimming. Took some pictures to keep track of how fast does it take the wound to heal and to grow back.

They look so much better today, after I raised the light up to 34". When I first saw them this morning most of the leafs were pointing up towards the light, so....I think we cought that one time

Temps 74f
Water Temp 67.6
RH 51%
PH 6.1
PPMs 700

I've raised the ppms from 400 to 700 5 days ago and so far no nute burn so...I think we're good there? I really think Diamond Nectar its helping the plants utilize nutes more efficiently. I have been following GH nutrient calculator expert program for a 16 week grow at half strengh for now. This is using everything but, floracious grow and floracious bloom.

2 week seedlings 490 ppms
2 week mild growth 1100 ppms
4week growth 1210 ppms
2week transition 1500 ppms ?
4week bloom 1550 ppms
2 weeks ripen 950 ppms ?

This is only a guide and changes will be made along the way.

I allso think, right now plants are liking the PH more around 6 + than at 5.9 or less ?

Here some pics of the :leaf: and set up.

He're some pics 1 day after the FIM was performed,and It's completly sealed. There will be new images posted every day to document the rate of growth.

My temps have been down since I raised the lights in the tent, at plant level was at 69f and the water was at 66f with a RH of 61% so.. I fired the 1k and the 400w at the same time to see if it was possible to run boths without burning something like... the house:mrgreen: and the temp stayed at around 84 at plant level and the RH went down to 15-20% . Thinking about doing that for flowering with both 1kHPS and 400w/Mh for a 1400w mh/hps ?? to much for two?. my dark cycle is from 12noon - 6pm so.. they are sleeping now, and have no clue of the nice 1k sunshine forecast for 6pm :bigjoint:

Here are the pics of day 26 from seed and 2 days after FIM.

1400 hps/mh too much for 2 plants?
your plants are gonna fuckin eat that light up man
ive got 1000k hps and couldnt get anything else and ive been told either a 400 or 600 k mh addition to my set up would be prime.
so i am no expert but i say your plants will LOVE the hps/mh combo
and theyre hydro... sorry i missed it, what kind of yield are you going for?

looking nice :D when do you plan to switch to flower? I think they will love the combo as well once they are a little bigger. And there aint anything wrong with 84 degrees.

nice progress...what are you feeding them whats your nutrient measurements?
I'm using 3 parts GH nutes, diamond Nectar,flora nectar,flora blend,liquid kool bloom and flora kleen .
I'm following the expert nutrient calculator chart for a 10gal system,my set up has almost 13gal but figured that way I'll have less chance to overfert. I went with 1/2 strengh on the nutes

Grow = 50ml
Micro = 25ml
Bloom = 25ml
Diamond Nectar = 50ml
Flora blend = 25ml
Flora nectar = 25ml

Next water change I'll go up on nutes. I'm aiming for 1100ppms for the next 3 or 4 weeks depending on how fast they grow.

I agree on the lights . I think that combo of red and blue would be perfect for my set up. I know I could have had more plants, but its only for personal use so... a two plant perpetual. Grow with pleny of room to grow sounded good to me. Yield? I don't even know, how much should I Aim for? Or hope? Or expect? We'll see.

I am thinking on vegg for... probably 60 days total from seed, because I want to LST what ever :leaf:grows from where I FIM. I like the combo Idea also, and it will keep the room dry with low RH%, and that IMO will help with keeping mold in check and hopefully big buds.bongsmilie

came back from work , and after thinking about the amount of o2 in the ress, because the plants looked overwatered to me. checked on my garden and remembered that I had an extra diffuser so... I got it and put it in a bucket and FUCK!!! I was drowning them!!! the diffusers were like 90% clogged in comparison to the new one, and just after 26 days? , and it did it so gradually that I didn't even notice it, had to put another 1/4" air line in each bucket, for now . I'm not using these anymore, going to get me some big airstones first thing in the morning

that sucks. good thing u caught it kinda early tho. should bounce back with no problem i would think. i need to get me some good airstones too. heavier ones

Not looking good! flushing with flora kleen and doing an emergency water change and clean, also going to let the roots dry for 15 minutes and will fill it back up with mild nutes and see from there.

this is some funny shit .... I'm in the midle of change over, and knock,knock, knock ...dellivery guy with my new washer and dryer so... I had to leave the plants with no water for over 20 min so far, and they are not done yet. why it's taking them so long????

I hope so. I have read a few places that 10 minutes is adequate time for air bath to the roots. but maybe if they were waterlogged then thats a different story. Id prob spray the roots a little to keep them from drying up. I could be wrong tho. Its a little stress to them but Im with gumball. I think they will be ok once back in a stable environment.

alright!!

changed water filled it with a watered down bleach ran it, drained it, flush it and then filled it with a 450ppms ph'd balanced solution.Replaced the diffusers for 3 5"round airstones.
I noticed by the time I got back to the garden the roots were really dry and not white anymore kinda brownish?

not much more to say this is how sad:-( they look right now
