i already did actually, i passed on the idea to Gamber actually. But in the setup I had, I couldnt use Gambers type of vent at the time of building so I had to use 2 90's to make a
cool tube and exhaust.

And hey to everyone else out there. Sorry for no pics lately and lots to tell But I need your help and guidance.


I keep meaning to tell you guys but a really good friend of mine (he's the one guy who knows I grow in case I need to go out of town he can take care of my plants) is buying into a dispensary in OC with some partners. It's in escrow, soon to close, pending the condition they are able to keep it open without closing. My buddy is a small time entrepreneur and has done well with some of the ventures he's gotten into lately (recently buying gold). However, he is self admittedly a novice about the ways of MJ (he's only had his card for 6 months). That's the background.

He just called me because this weekend they are all meeting with their first vendor to purchase 5lbs of assorted strains. He asked if I could be his "outside consultant" and be with them at the dispensary to help test and sample all the strains before they finalize the purchase.

So I've purchased my share of different strains of all varieties (mostly to keep tolerance up) and mostly smoke top shelf strains. Since I've gotten to know all of the budtenders, they've been giving me the inside scoop on all of the "compassionate" strains that they offer from week to week. They told me their definition of "compassionate" is middle grade indoor and ANYTHING outdoor $10g/$35e/$65q. Every week I go in I've been playing a game with them to see if I can tell which jars are "fresh" and most "potent" in their stock for the week. By now I'm getting pretty good at discerning indoor/outdoor, all the different smells and what works well for me and my conditions.

For the most part I should be able to BS my way through and still give good advice. But I've actually never participated in something like this so tell me what you think and give suggestions to guide me through. I've also watched the Jorge Cervantes DVD where he actually shows how he tests the strains for the Cannabis Cup!! So I've got the Glass Bong, a Clean Pipe, a Vaporizer and high grade butane lighter. What else do I need?

something for cotton mouth, and clear eyes dude sounds like an awesome experience. 5lbs of assorted strains, I wouldnt even know where to begin. so I wouldnt know what advice to give. it is said outdoor bud is fluffy, and cfl bud is fluffy, so um you get where I am going with that. and if you buy an outdoor clone and then grow inside, then its an indoor so price is better right? I think you can bea big help to him, you at least have tolerance. High dollar should be getting you very medicated off 1-2 hits. Compassionate may need 4-5 to get the same medical relief. Maybe use something like that as a rule of thumb.

I think all you need is a Daniels. Maybe a Gumball too. I can be the out of state "outside consultant".

My advice is after you try a few, then look for the one that has strong effects when you are already 'high'. A guy only gets 1 wake n' bake a day.

OMG. Life is busy right now and that's a good thing! I've been working the past few days!! Yesterday was the most money I've earned in a single day and the client was extremely happy with my results...and the work I did caused them to be dependent on me for the future so I think I've got my first permanent client!!! Wheeeeee!

Trying to keep up with the plants is crazy especially on the 12/12 schedule. Little hairs are popping out everywhere and the growing tips are starting to "glow". Upward growth rate is about 1/2" day, seems like they slowed down while getting used to flowering nutes? Hopefully they'll stretch upwards more because they still have about 16" of room to grow up.

I've got a TON of pics along the way that I need to go through so those will be up throughout the day. It's just too hard to give the "mega" update.

Oh by the way the garage smells good!!!! Definitely not skunky but more like walking through a forest and fresh. Make sense?

As far as the my buddies vendor, he was driving down from No Cal. He was using the opportunity to bring his family down to Disneyland but the car broke down. My buddy isn't the one in direct contact so it looks like a day or two before the "sampling".

Stop by and say "Hi" throughout the day. I've got some interesting pics and discoveries I've made and more pics of the light traps...which are fucking awesome I might add!

But first I've got about 20 subscriptions I want to go catch up on! You guys keep me busy too!

By the way, I'm a Rock Band fiend on drums! I'm ranked in the top 6% on RB3 and climbing!! Drumming is great exercise, especially for my hands and wrists. Just because I have lost range of motion, doesn't mean what flexibility I do have still isn't supple and loose. I do WAY better on Sativa than Indicas because I can tune in and relax. I'm originally a wind player so having 3 limbs doing 3 different things at the same time is a new concept for me.

I'm also going to be getting the Pro Drum Kit which will give me full cymbals, high hat and toms. The kits are getting almost as good as professional eDrums. My current RB2 drum kit have modified heads which use stretched high strength window screen and enhanced accelerometers so I get much better stick rebound and more of my hits get recorded.

Ok busted! But just for a bit. It was beautiful yesterday so instead I ran and worked outside in the yard. So I'm a day late.

Let's start with a few pics from several days ago on 2/9. As you can see they are really beefy under the screen. So I went ahead and cut out the leaves that were growing under the screen. While I was doing so I found a whole bunch of node sites that were trapped below all the leaves. So I think I did the right thing. Either way they definitely caught back up!

I'm so fucking stoked.



Now on to the F-13 girls. #4 bit the dust. Upon investigating what was going on in the netpot, she just slipped out of the rockwool. No fucking roots. I'm thinking #1 and #3 are not far behind. But #2 is hanging in there.

So 1 out of 4 isn't too bad considering. In reading more and more, I see all you guys growing clones in rockwool/rootplugs with blazing white explosions of roots coming out of them. Not the brown shriveled things I've been bringing home. I'm gonna let these girls keep growing but I'm now thinking of being more selective in my future clone purchases. I'm gonna go cruise the dispensary's today and maybe look on Craigslist. Regardless, my setup only allows me to start with short stature clones which can bend fast. Teens are out.

I had the fortune to smoke some Mango a couple of weeks ago. It was so damn good, I have a pack or reg seeds (10) on the way. I went with Amsterdam Seeds.nl this time because they were only like $34 with shipping. I can't wait to get them. I'm going to do them outdoors.

Okay I'm sold. By the way, everywhere I search there's tons of talk that Mango Kush is the same as Green Crack. Anybody know anything if this is true or not. Even if not, if it's the same smoke, I'm in!!!
