Hey Duke. I looked through my stuff and it turns out it was a plant in DWC that had that same issue. I can't say for sure now what the fix was either and wish I'd handled that different. I changed too many things to be able to say what it was that fixed it.

The plant was having a little root rot either causing or caused by high temps in the res and it had leaves like yours with some cupping and some curling down (kinda shrivelled looking). I changed the res with plain water mixed with a little household bleach and was more careful about the res temps after that and it perked right up after about a day. The root rot went away leaving me with gleaming white roots and the leaves looked more normal all withing about a day.

Cupping (clawing) is usually due to either high temps, too close to the bulb or too high ppm on the nutes. With the cooling setup you've got going I'd probably rule that out. It looks in the pic that it's mostly the leaves close to the light that are cupping so it could be that. If there's more not shown in the pic that are farther from the light doing the same thing you might want to back off on the ppm for a few days to a week to see if that fixes it.

That's all the help I can offer unfortunately. I'm still new to the game and am learning every day. I have harvested a large amount of plants in the time I've been growing but still not as experienced as a lot of people on here.

Last night i changed out the res. and ran thru straight ph'd tap water which in my house comes out at about 140ppm. after running the drippers for about 10 minutes i rechecked the ppm's and they only slightly raised to 165, which could be due to the 1/2 gallons or so that sits in the brain bucket from the ebb&gro. I didnt make it out this morning to check but assume it will raise to the 350 neiborhood over night as there is probably 4-5 gallons of 1000 ppm water in the 14 e&g buckets. We'll see. Either way tonight they go back to the normal flower feed schedual, I will dilute it a bit to run around 1000 instead of 12-1300 i would usually.

Your nutrients are fine. Week 5 I run at 1800ppm!

The leaf curling you see is just from a little too much watering, nothing more. Just ease up on the flooding a little bit (reduce the frequency of flooding them by 25%) and they'll look fine in 3-5 days.

i run the drippers 1gph, for 15min. and they run 5 times a light cycle, so they only get 1.25 gallons dripped over the hydroton filled pots. would you still recommend cutting out one watering? most of the plants look fine there are like 6-7 that have just a handful of curled leaves, mostly the upper newer ones.

If its only the upper new, it *could* be just too far from the light....... I cant tell you if the watering schedule is perfect, each room is different.... I read the plants to gauge watering, rather than reading equipment to fill a pot full at certain times.............

Well the day long flush turned in to 2 as i got all fucked up at a bros house and couldn't even make it home let alone garden. but switch it over last night and it looked like they were getting a bit better, or maybe it was just high hopes. We'll see

the curled leaves looked much better last night two days after flushing them. so i decided to start up with a dose of purple maxx, foilar feed 2ml. per gallon. I just gave them i light misting, and will continue to once a week till flush

sorry kinda lost track of this little journal, had some crazy shit going on around the old homestead. but any ways heres where I'm at. monday will be day 42, I had 2 of the drippers clog and didnt notice it right away which left the plants a bit yellow and quite droppy but i think they'll still pull thrught. other that that it seem like the stadium is work out OK. I'm kinda disappointed in the amount of large buds, but hopfully I can make up the weight with solid buds top to bottom. I had to pluck about a 5 gal bucket full of leaves off the other day just to get some air and light through the canopy it was sooo frickin thick.

thanks Phyre, seems like everyone lost interest in this thread. I'll try to get a couple more updates, then a final couple shots wiht some grand totals.

I already have made up my mind that i wont be running this setup again. Its just too much work and too hard to access most of the plants. if my room was 2-3' wider i could roll the one side back enough to get between It would be much better and probably easier to control hum. and temps better too. Oh well live and learn. The whole deal only cost me about 50 bucks to build so I'm not really out anything, and Im sure to get enough weight out of it to still be worth the time and efffort I've put into it.
