well... its hard to say kitty cuz one half of the room is about 8" and pretty bushy (those are my own cuttings of mendo purps) while the 12 super grape ape are about 6" but really looking like there going to be a lanky plant not to many nodes, but happy looking. and the blue berry are by far the worst I have a feeling theywill be a huge disapointment there still just about 4" almost the same size as when i got them. I'll probably be switching to flower when the mendo's hit a foot then I'll have to mix them through the room to keep the lighting even.

well the average hight got to be just over a foot now, so I went ahead and flipped the lights on to 12/12. The mendo's are some thick little bushes almost all of them are a foot tall with probably 12-15 nodes. The super grape ape(SGA) were by far the tallest averaging about 15-16" with between 7-8 nodes. And last and least is the blueberry which 2 die and the rest are finally starting to look pretty decent. The setup is running flawlessly, I'm quit pleased.

As far as bloom nutes go my schedual will consist of dyna-gro bloom,mag-pro,pro-tect. With the additions of bud candy and cyco zyme throught, also cyco's swell for week 4-7.

Looking great dude, so I noticed your lights in the video the bulbs were about the height of the top row, since u flipped are you going to have to raise your lights higher or since they are veritcal the light shoots diagonally up??? Just curious on how you do it, I'm interested in doing something like this in the future!

personally would consider moving the lights upwards. in ur pic the plants are reaching to the side for light.

IDK, I raised them a couple inches when i changed them bot i dont want to lessen the light to the bottom row to much. once the streach is over i'll have to reaccess the situation. my thought was the light would be centered in the plant canopy shooting up to the tops and down to the bottom. I can already tell the center row is going to out perform the rest.

Ya i thought about that also, maybe if you staggered the lights. like if your running 3 lights, maybe have the 2 outside light about middle height to cover middle and bottom and the middle light maybe like anywhere from 6 - 12 inches higher than the other two.

Just a thought and something i was thinking about, when trying to design one myself.

HP i was kinda thinking the same as the middle light is just under 4 feet from the furthest plant on the top shelf. next time i need to figure out a way to add a third side of shelf where the filter is It wastes alot of light not useing at least 3 sides oh well got a couple months to figure that out

Based upon the Inverse Square Law -- if each light was 1000 watts, you'd be only giving ~60 watts to the plants at 4 feet away. Oops!

So here's a little lumen math for yoU:

600w lumen output at 12" - 90,000 lumens
1000w lumen output at 18" - 75,000 lumens

600w lumen output at 18" - 45,000 lumens
1000w lumen output at 24" - 37,500 lumens

600w lumen output at 24" - 22,500 lumens
1000w lumen output at 30" - 18,750 lumens

*** THe math isnt terribly accurate, as each type of bulb has a different rating of luments. THese are just kinda standard types, YMMV.

yeah i know that 4 feet is no good for light distances. that is how far the center light would be to the farthest plantat one end of the shelf, there is also another light roughtly 14-18" away. but thanks for helping kitty your input is always welcome

Ya a third row would be legit for sure I see how maybe a 4th but smaller only half the amount of plants maybe, on wheels so u can still go into the stadium

If I didnt get such a screaming deal on that big ass filter (60$new) I would of got one smaller and mounted to the ceiling and add the third side. Some times a good deal isnt as good as it seams you know what i mean

well here we are at the end of week one, actually day 9 of flower. all is well the girls seem to be liking there stadium just fine. the SGA are really doing some streaching compared to my mendo's, which might be a problem as far as the light height goes. I plan to move the lights up about 5-6 " at the next res change. hoping it will keep the tops nice and fat.

SGA's

mendo's
