Westboro - Here We Go

The Supreme Court has just found for the Westboro Church, and their right to picket military funerals. The decision was nearly unanimous, 8-1. Speaking for the majority, Chief Justice Roberts wrote in the decision:

"Speech is powerful. It can stir people to action, move them to tears of both joy and sorrow, and -- as it did here -- inflict great pain. On the facts before us, we cannot react to that pain by punishing the speaker."

I detest what Westboro does. However, I think the court decided correctly. In the eyes of the law, Westboro has the right to protest. However, I believe they will be dealt with. Westboro will piss off the wrong people at some point, and they will get hit, that's my prediction. I hope it comes to pass.

Well, I think it is going to happen. Before the end of this year I predict. No, it won't be me. I won't mention names but there have been people on this very forum who have vowed to do it. I dunno about that, but I do believe it's going to happen especially now that folks see the courts cannot or will not intervene.

When I came home from overseas Id say about 50 of these guys on bikes with big ass flags escorted the buses from the airport back to the base. I dunno about you guys but I have literally seen someone get the shit beat out of them for cutting off a funeral procession, and the cops watched for about 45 seconds before pulling em off. granted if the guy would have just said "im sorry" the other guy prolly would have let him go however he him (my uncle) to go fuck himself. these idiots are going to killed one of these days screaming shit at the wrong persons funeral
