got one just like it! mine a 5 tree perk lux tho...i have to agree roor and lux make some awesome pieces...a lil over priced, but Im a baller yo.So I broke my 3 foot volcan single perc bong the other day so I decided to go pick this guy up.
Looks can be deceiving....
Loaded it with some purple urcle
they use pyrex glass, and the honeycomb diffuser stem i have disperses the smoke through the water quite nicely..
if you fill the bottom with hot water, the middle chamber with room temp water, and put crushed ice in the top...it'll be the best hit ever!!

I feel where your coming with this... I've hit both, toro, US roor, and DE roor....
I definitely find something very appealing about a perfectly formed - perfectly fused on all joints - bong. Sure, you can add all this fancy shit to make the smoke travel through and smooth it out, but a nice roor straight tube is amazing to smoke from. It just has this unique quality of perfectly billowing a single, even cylinder of milk straight to your mouth, and clears like a dream.
This is why I don't like ROOR US as much, as they tend to add all this fancy shit, where the germans stay refined.
Poplars, I caution you against looking at everyondoesit, after seeing your post on the previous page in 09. They charged me, then took 4 months to send glass, then forgot a fucking bowl while they were at it. I must have sent, 60 emails to get my stuff sent I kid you not. I'm a persistent motherfucker when it comes to money though.
If I wanted to get a roor straight tube [in years, after a phX and something else] I would get something like this.. 18m Beaker bottom straight tube, and add a diffused downstem
Roor is like bently.
They are expensive bongs, that cost a lot, but look like other cheaper bongs... they are simple, yet elegant... and a lot of detail was paid attention to on the simple stuff
Just like a Bentley costs a lot... yet looks like some Chrysler..... Bentley aren't ferraris, but they are elegant in their own way... bentleys with supple round lines and a powerful engine. You can guarantee on a Bentley that NOTHING was looked over, everything done to exact perfection...
almost a perfect comparison.
Now if you had the choice, Bentley, or ferrari.. what would you pick?
