How did your Headband turn out? I was looking for your info on it. I was looking at my HB a week ago and it looked like it had a month. I go in there Monday and say may it has 2 weeks. I go in there today and I look at it and, ITS DONE! I have heard that BioBoost causes things to finish fast, but I put these into 12/12 on Feb 1. 44 days right now. I am so glad that I kept this thing around, lol. It has spent more time in veg than it has in Flowering, lol. My yield isn't looking like it will be great, but I had so many problems in the beginning, I can't blame the plant. Hopefully I'll get 2 zips from it, but damn that shit is frosty and it smells so damn legit. Lemon Pledge fuel skunk. The next batch is sure to be so much better.

Yeah, I like this strain.. A LOT. I've already got another mother for clones, and another one that is getting ready for 12/12. She doesn't seem to be a quick flowering plant though, I'm thinking at least 10wks. It smells like you say, and REALLY strong at that. Yield looks good, especially cnsidering how small of a container I hae her in. The next one I'm flowering will likely be in a five gal. bucket. I'm glad to have a solid indica in my stash with the BW but I can't wait for the HB and CATK to be ready... If you need any info I have many more hand wirtten notes, I stopped duplicating everything here from my notes pretty quickly, haha...

...just got off work and still chopping the BW, this stuff is DANK!

I'm going to edit and reorganize everything I just had to post it so I don't lose it... fucking internet...

-never mind this computer sucks-

1.headband
2. Cat K.
3. SBC #2
4.BW nugs hanging
5.OGK that got hit by the heat when it rose
6. SBC #2 (again)
7. Catk (again)
8,9. OGK pre flowering

and the rest are Blue Widow preharvest shots....

Might have mentioned it, but I chopped the bagseeds also, they weren't great, one was good, but I donated it all to a few friends.

I should also mention that if anyone has questions on any of the strains or any of the nutes I use, questions on veganics or organics, hit me up. I have lots of notes that I'm willing to share.

I'd like to think I hve everything just about dialed in at this point, the soil mixes, nutrient solutions for various stages, but I need to figure out these strains a bit more. In my system I let the CK and HB yellow up a bit too soon. I skipped one feeding and BOOM, its all good though. I love learning through trial and error....

well, in that case :) I have questions about upthearsenal's supersoil... a vegan organic supersoil.

and skipping feedings hasn't been working out for me either. I just feed lightly.

If I'd claim to have a veganic supersoil perfected, it would be a lie. I've only been working on it for a few months anyways. But what I can say is that is reasonably simple, N is quite easy to maintain, all my girls in veg are vegan and all I have to do is water and train. What I've done for flowering though, where the problems have persisted, is cook a mixture of promix and soft rock, alfalfa, kelp, and lime (lots of soft rock phosphate I might add) separately.. This mixture in itself is a concentrate, which I add to my veg mixture... It might be a bit tedious, and that's why I supplement with the BC.

I'm sure if you cook it long enough you can make it all in one batch, but I don't and haven't....

OH! and root development... roots like to grow out in search for P, give them space and they will find the P ;)

The SBC I placed in flowering recently is one that I feel has more potential for reduced feedings, while keeping her sustained for the next 5-7 wks.

Yeah, feed lightly. I like to also keep the seaweed in the regime a bit longer than the others.

I do like the idea of mixing soil and still feeding, for the most part this is what people are used to, and I would think it's because you get a good base and still have a fair bit of control.

Seaweed good imo, all the way. High K yes, which conflicts with the already high K in BC nutes. But the growth hormones are no joke, and K is needed anyways in flower. Im finding that a little goes a long way with this technaflora seaweed, and I'm hesitantly using the bioag seaweed right now too. It has super high quality humic in it, and 7 micros (meaning the micros excluding Ca/Mg). Are you foliar feeding? Last night I did a light mix of RO water, Molasses, Seaweed, Ful-Power (fulvic), Huvega (derived from magnesium sulfate), and ALOE VERA JUICE :) (for Cal/Mg, sugars, and saponins)

After much deliberation, I decided to give it one more week. The Trics are starting to turn cloudy. I was gonna let them ripen a bit since it is and indica dominant as far as I can tell and I'd like to let it get a little stonier.

Hey bud, how'd your Blue Widow turn out? I remember you said you had one going into flower a couple months back when I was finishing mine.

Oh yeah, it turned out great. I've been meaning to give a smoke report soon, just been neglecting it. I was actually waiting for the either the HB or the CK to finish so I could post one big update with the harvest and BW smoke report. Either way, it was a nice plant and good smoke. I have a couple in veg right now, and one in flower.

I cut off a cola from the HB and it's really good. It tastes pretty crazy and the high is nice, but it isn't quite done yet, maybe a couple more weeks. The CK looks just about ready though, lookinh forward to that one.

Also looking into getting a light mover, considering my rectangular space.

Thanks everyone for following thus far and I'll try to keep the updates coming, and I am still watching everyone's grows.

So the Headband and the Cataract Kush are coming down soon. I lost track for a little while, but I figured they are at about 10 weeks. I absolutely love this CK pheno, it's going to be a permenant fixture in my garden for a while. I'm not sure about this HB yet, still have a few left and ready to get flowered, I want to see how one of the clones does grown upright, and another in a 5 (or more)gal container...

I still have some BW left so I'll take some dry nug shots for the next update. These nugs are great, super dense and frosty.

Cataract Kush sample with a poor trim - looks just about ready, aye :D

Oh yeah, got a light mover off ebay, hopefully that works out well.

Looks great man. I'm just finishing up my grow too! Thanks for the help and support! I was thinking about working on a veganic supersoil. I know that you talked about using a soil mixture that was mostly veganic. I was wondering if you had done any more work on this or if you would be willing to go into a little more depth on your soil mixture? I guess I'm just trying to get an idea of what I would replace the Blood Meal, Fish Bone Meal, Bat Guano, and the Worm Castings (arguably) with that would be a veganic option and how much of it to use.

I can elaborate fully in the future, still working on it. I feel I would need a couple successful runs to really get a veganic soil mixture going perfectly. The veg mixture is easy, and for now the concentrate I mentioned has been doing well for flowering.

But really, if you're working on one it's pretty straight forward, as I'm sure you've gathered, not simple but straight forward. Use only vegan fertilizers (there's lots out there, use them all. Rize's thread has lots of info about slow release fertz), and make sure the P source is bioavailable, because like I said, the veg mix is easy with the kelp and such, but soft rock phos. is less available. It doesn't seem like it is by too much, you just have to cook your mixture well.
