haha that reminds me i went to visit home i think two weeks ago and on the interstate i was doing EXACT speed limit 70 mph in the fast lane, i see someone flash their highbeams in the rearview.. and im like uh uh im not speeding im too excited to go home to risk getting pulled over. so the dude passes. its a cop, i think, oh shit something must be wrong with the car, so i pull over and there isnt a damn thing wrong he just wanted to go faster.

not really anything wrong there i guess just thought it was funny.

yeah the kid was a dumbass for shooting in(wrestling wise, no gun) but he was quite drunk, cop was in his underwear and they both knew eachother and lived in the same neighborhood the kids whole life, so it was not some strange cop.

and damn im not judging you but im usually considered a pretty violent person, love the ring in every form, but i wouldnt use deadly force of any kind if someone went low there is no confusion about what their intent is.

I hear you, but I'm just thinking that the VERY first thing I do when woken in the middle of the night is grab my weapon. I just watched a move called "Felon" (released 200 and it is a very similar situation. Idk all the facts of the story, and if he knew the kid(and the kid wasn't a threat) he shouldn't have shot. But while pursuing someone, and stop and turn movement is automatically considered life-threatening.

I saw a cop crash last week.
He was chasing someone and they crashed,then the cop hit the back of there car.
The people who were being chased got out and ran and got away lol.The cop was hunched over with his face on the steering wheel and he looked like he was bleeding.
People started clapping when they got out and ran.Nobody helped the piece of shit cop.

So some people that just raped and killed alittle girl just got away????!!!! lol...not a world i want to live in.

It happens fast. No way to see if there were drugs or alcohol involved. It's simply reactionary. On the ground is a little different than trying to take my legs out.

to be clear that means he spread his arms slightly hands extended and tried to connect shoulder to upper thigh lower stomach area.

like i said, your point stands. its just i could never mistake a shot for a stab attempt and it wouldnt make me feel my life was in danger, and i feel a pro should recognize the situation as easily.

i know exactly the look you are talking about, you can almost see him trying to think were he can run to but there is no where. fucking steroid freak i am so glad he got trashed like that he is exactly what young dudes in the sport shouldnt be emulating.

Definitely understood val. I just try to look at both sides and think about how many dangerous situations the cop had been in. As a cop, when pursuing someone, if they stop or turn, you immediately act. It takes so little time to deploy a weapon that you assume if he's fleeing and then turns to fight, he has the worst possible intent in his mind. I would NEVER want to shoot an innocent, but I also want to go home to my family and if they take an action that is considered a threat, I will ensure that I am the one going home.

my whole thought on that, is if you want a nice safe job and want to make sure that you go home to your wife and kids every day, don't become a cop.. shit happens.. cops get killed.. the same as in the military.. if you don't want to die for someone elses cause, then don't join the military.. don't get me wrong, i hate to see all of these young kids coming home in boxes or sometimes even worse, with a missing limb or two, but they know the risks of war before signing on the dotted line.. i have fear of catching on fire, so i am not a fire fighter, so to speak.. just my $. 02

It's the way it went down though. There are ENTIRE departments that are corrupt, but most of the time it's a rogue. Yeah, it was a life-changing situation. If I had been trigger-happy I could have easily justified shooting the guy because I was alone and he was armed. I quit the next day.
