RIU Aquarium Owners...What you got?

I got a 20gallon in my living room with 1 Clown Loach, 5 X-ray Tetras, 4 Glowlight Tetras and 1 Neon Tetra. Unfortunately no pics on hand.

I just put a 10gallon in my office a few weeks back with 1 Crowntail Betta, 3 Sunburst Wagtails and 3 Algae Eaters. I had 5 Neon Tetras also but the Betta beat up and mortally injured 4 and I relocated the only survivor to my living room. He quickly schooled up with the other Tetras so that made me happy. A few pics of the 10gallon. So what you got?

Here's a fish enthusiast for you - I'm sitting in the Anchorage airport headed home & in my backpack is a really nice Myan Cichlid, a couple of larger red tailed sharks, some black tetras and a couple misc cats.
Trying to look all nonshalent with a bag that weighs about 20 lbs.
We don't have a pet shop in my town, so if you want fish etc... you have to bring them back with you.
At the house I have a 75 gal cichlid tank with a half dozen african cichlids, a couple plecos & some african upside down cats.
I also have a 55 show tank I'm not using if you're in the neighbor hood & are looking to upgrade.
I'll post a couple shots of the 75 later.

no camera for pics but i have a 5 yr old oscar in a 130 gal. tank. hes 15 inches long and i have a plecko 4 yr old thats 16 in. long and a clown loach thats 2 yr old and about 4 in long. i also have a spare 55 gal. tank for med. purposes....

Here's an older pic of our 29 gallon. We have since added a couple more live plants, and now have 3 red-fin sharks, 3 mollies, 3 tiger-barbs, 2 green barbs and one chinese algae-eater.

Awesome my best buddy has a few Cichlids. Not sure what kind but they are definitely top of the food chain and quite menacing-looking haha. Unfortunately I'm on the complete opposite end of the states to gripple-grapple that show tank:( I got acouple Plecos years back but they didn't survive.

Awesome I like my Clown Loach. I got him to eat my pesky Ramshorn Snails. He did a great job. Not a single one left :)

Awesome! Mollies are cool hardy fish. I think Wagtails and Mollies are somewhat closely related. Are the Red-fin Sharks very aggressive? They have a few at the local pet store and they looked cool. Lookin good though, I like the pirate ship.

Thanks. Took us a bit to figure out our theme. I like it. The red-tails are fine if you have at least 3 of them. They seem to leave the rest of our fish alone for the most part. The biggest bully in our tank is the algae eater. Gotta be careful with the mollies, though. Ours birthed around 70 babies about a month ago. Luckily we found a fish store that would take them.

Thats also what the pet store lady said about the Wagtails. That they are live-bearers and do it quite frequently. I'll probably go get one of those birthing tanks just in case.

180l with guppies (and 2 bristlenosecatfish)

starting my plants again after i had some crayfish in there (the cloners(only females))
got them in a big container now, i dont like having a big tank and no plants, much more work caring for it too and not as healthy fish.

Fo sure. Eventually the plants, fish and bacteria will take care of each other. The reason my tanks look so clear is cuz I don't fuck with them. Nature does a pretty good job when you don't fuck with her.

I used to breed fighting fish/bettas. It was fun. Might go back to breeding, got lots of time on my hands.

My dad has a couple koi outside with numerous feeder type goldfish. Funny thing is the feeders are too big to be eaten, some are just as big as the koi :leaf:
