thanks guys. im getting excited. some are half way done already. the uvb lights are indeed helping. i have not seen this much resin and trics this early on. i endorse them for the time being.

So I smoked a bit of my VK quick dried. I actually found a way that doesn't really degrade the taste. Involving a paper towel, a toilet paper roll, an elastic and a blow dryer with a cool button. Its pretty self explanatory given the item list but takes a while. Anyways I was very surprised considering 1 the VK I took was a 4 inch root bound 12/12 from seed experiment I had and I quick dried it. It was behind my other ladies in readiness but I got quite high off it with 2 friends. Took first two bubbler rips after extensively cleaning it with 420 cleaner. Burned really smooth no fert crackle at all. First taste was like mine smell. If pine sol cleaning solution smell was made from a flower this is that flower. The after taste was sweeter pineapple flavor, not real pineapple but like what life savers gummi's think pineapple tastes like. Like how banana runts don't really taste like banana's. All and all very pleasing taste and will only get exponentially better with a proper cure. Since I took it early it was more of a head stone. Very social stone. My legs felt floaty rather than weighted. Sorry for babbling, just real hyped up that I got some above normal sensimilla even before a proper dry and cure. Woop Woop! Edit: Oh and I almost forgot, Popped off a seed pod to see how they were progressing n got my first viable "yoda" seed. Light brown with black striping. Looks good. Wish quesar wasn't already a type of bud. Would be a perfect name for Querkle and Mazar mix.

awesome. im curios about your yoda. it is a better name. the pineapple dynamite popped finally. its a local strain, as far as i know i am one of three people with the strain. but that could easily be way off. just my friends word and my lack of finding anything on it, via the net.. i have np idea who made pineapple but the dynamite is from next generation. so thats cool. the wee ones look good. congrats on the beans!!! i am really looking forward to the vk. you will have to share some pics

I will keep you updated. Just gave my first 5 seeds away. Told him to wait at least 6 weeks until he germs them.... hope he listens. Pineapple dynamite. That's a good name on its own bc It reminds me of a pineapple grenade or MK 2. IT EXPLODES IN YOUR BRAIN!! lol. CH9 seeds is the only company I know of that has a strain called just plain Pineapple. Its about a half and half plant with a very short flowering period. Less than 8 weeks! Plus that pineapple strain is rare in its own right. Originally only 450 seeds were produced. Probably more now but who knows. Anyways. I threw a plant of each kind in the dark. Will most likely chop on Wednesday and hang em. I'll definitely grab pictures of that.You think they need 3 full days dark? Finished off my early quick dry bud last night. This stuff has staying power too. I remember trying to fall asleep and being like.... I'm still fucking stoned almost 2 hours after my 2 and a half rips. Edit: Change of plans, I'm going to cut these down after 24 hours of dark, next two 48 hours and then 72 on the next two. The last one I'll just chop in the morning unless I see any benefit from the 2-3 days of darkness.

thanks. that's sounds right. he has been growing pineapple for quite a few years and accidentally pollinated all his pineapple clones via the dynamite. lucky for him he had some clones vegging still. anyway he ended up with tons of imature seeds and 15 good ones 5 of them made it or something. all female. gave me a bunch of the smoke cause he thinks his pineapple was violated
he gave one away kept one sold and gave the others out as dried goods. being f1s, they were close in look. so, all in all. i am stoked that the bud gave me a bean. and shes going strong. i told my friend and he was excited. told me that she was looking for me..or to get in my hands, and destiny or something. i was baked....still am. lol.

i did some research on the ch9 and it looks just like his pineapple. so, thank you. if she is a she. well, then i will keep her as a mother and half to give a bit away. karma, like.

that is awesome. looking forward to it. ive done 2 days dark on some white strains, it did noticeably increase resin, imo. three seems a little long, but i know other have done so with success. more so with white strains then others though.

Yea read that too, read as long as a week with success on white strains. So La Blanka is staying in the dark for awhile when mine comes around. Your right!, you were baked because that little bit in the middle was hard to follow. I'm sure I'd comprehend it more if I was baked when I read it. Any who I'm bored so I'd though I'd share some shot from last night. Took 4 hours all alone, so I didn't get as many shots as I would have liked. 110Gs (VK) and 105Gs (MZR) wet so what like almost an dry ounce a piece right? Mazar (LeeLou) is orangey VK (Velma) is purpley. The pictures don't do the frostiness justice and I could have trimmed better if it wasn't so dark in my room. My girl was sleeping while I trimmed.

Its fine, Kinda funny tho. We all do it given the right herb. Yea yours looks like a monster. About the same structure as a couple of mine but yours will be a lot bigger. The drying buds stink three times as much as they did growing. The problem is the smells mix in the drying area. The berry smell mixed with the uniquely hard to describe smell of the VK smells like rotting fruit or something else non appetizing. I do like stinky buds though. The only reason I told him to wait was I heard they wouldn't germinate right away. Is this true? Makes sense so in nature they don't germinate right away and freeze during the winter.

yeah, my wife thinks all the smells combined make a baby poo smell, or something. lol
i believe you to be correct about the beans. not positive though. the vk's are getting huge. the special kush (hindu kush) is a bit over 6 & 1/2 ft. and im working on my fitth week of 12/12. let me know how the smoke treats ya. how long do you dry and or cure for?

new pics today or tomorrow. the smells are considerably strong. and the ladies are sticky to the touch, and getting more so.
the new wee ones are doing well. 3x vortex, 3x chrystal, special queen, pineapple dynamite, & 2x black widow. the ice cream never popped. ill give it one more day or so.

when i take one out, a new one goes in.

will be adding, as i can:

dairy queen,
ace....,
n's haze,
sour cream.

i want to find a good cheese strain. i can get uk cheese but only dried. i was thinking kaliman, check out one of his cheese strains.
also think ill give emerald triangle a try. they look to have good genetics.

I dried as long as needed with my outdoor grows. Usually by day three I have something that will burn but I like my bud real dry when I smoke it, don't ask me why but I do. So I usually just dry normally and then break out a bit and let it sit on my desk till I get around to smoking it. This first harvest will get smoked before a good cure sets in but the last ones I take should get a nice cure on. I like to cure at least two weeks and 2 months max. After that I just think the bud gets old. Maybe I just tire of it and its all psychological or I don't store it in optimal conditions but this batch will all be gone by then anyways. I'll definite post a properly dried smoke report for both strains this weekend when I get some stuff dried up enough. Damn I wish I had a 6 foot plant. I had a buddy with a big hindu kush plant. Maybe not taller than 6 feet though. He got almost 8 ounces off that mama outside. Yea I'd take rotten fruit over baby crap any day. LOL that's funny though. Is the wife a marijuana hobbyist as well? I cant see anyone putting up with baby poop smell all day unless they loved the plants producing it too.

lol. yes. she loves ganja. both enjoy the medical as well as the recreational properties. the smell changes through the day, only baby poo/ rotten fruit smell 6 hrs a day.

yeah. i like to cure for about the same time. 3 weeks is my min this grow.....aside the samples and all.
