As some of you know Dan and i have been debating the reality of True legalization with out commerce for 2012 in the style of prop 215.

Dan has been shy to write down his vision of what our freedom should look like and I thought I would nudge my debate-mate Dan.

Go on Dan.. I know you have been shy to stand up on your own so here is a nudge..

Let us read about the freedom we will have under your vision of Cannabis Freedom for California in 2012.

Good Luck

while waiting for the outline, one thought on 2012, and its different demographic
as you may recall, the under 30 year old registered voter turnout was around 10%(if memory serves)
nothing like a non presidential voting year to skew the voter proportions
2012 could be quite different with voter turnout, we just need the right proposition

Yep I understand there should be a better turn out in 2012

If nothing else we could get T-Shirts made that say it failed because you didn't vote.

I'd love to be able to get the job I want without having to quit taking the only medicine that has ever worked for me...

16 years...

Saying goodbye is so fucking hard....

Isn't that full flavor of home-grown just the best?
Knowing it was grown clean and chemical free is even better.

I used to love you Ernst...just fucking around....I still love you.
I turn 50 tomorrow.. Gonna order a Scooter and go a bit Greener so I love me too.

What is good is my Kitty-boys love me. I think they know that the food here is way better than what anyone else gives them. That helps.

Hey I discovered mathematical Cycles in the structure of binary data too.. I'm waiting for some acknowledgement from the science guys on data compression news-group.

Also A jar that wasn't labelled is the best here.. I dig that I was around folks that knew how to cure weed over on GrowKind way back then.

Well party on..

I cant tell you how much good weed I saw go shitty at dispensaries because people cant cure correctly...

Can you PM anything explaining what you found on the data?

I’m not Dan but I’ll give you my libertarian opinion. But I’m also a realist so this is what I think could be a good compromise. This is at the state level.

Legal age 21

Ability to smoke anywhere you can drink
alcohol but if you can’t smoke cigarettes in that area you can’t smoke weed.

Sold anywhere you can buy cigarettes.

Any weed based food or liquid products sold must meet all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of food.

Any additives to the finished productive must be listed on the package.

Growing marijuana for personal use will require a permit that cost $100 a year. This way the damn state still gets its taxes and people can go back to gardening in the yard.

15% consumption tax on weed sold in the state, 9% to the state for general use, 3% goes toward rehabilitation programs 3% local community.

I don’t like all the shit I just listed but I think it’s a realistic approach to legalization at the state level.

i think the tax on personal grows could be very appealing to some undecided voters
that's a pretty concrete benefit, and i think it sells easier than commercial recreational sales
a lot of people balk on the thought of public MJ sales
i know that is what prop 215 has effectively created, but i don't think it's clear how many would have voted for 215 if they knew how pervasive MMJ dispensaries would become

I hate to skew Dan's thread..

What about State issued Permits and the fees for them. The deal is everyone has the right to grow plants but a permit and a fee to the state is needed to keep it cool.

I was thinking Fees on Home Grown would be better than taxing home grown by weight.
What does Dan think?

I think so as well. I'm right here in Turlock and it has more Churches per capita than any other place in the world. There are wonderful old neighborhoods and there are traditional low income housing on the other side of town

That is as good a picture of what the Class reality is for people and nothing will ease these good folks into embracing cannabis industry even though it's happening all around them with delivery services rather than brick and mortar buildings.

Just ask me what I see and I will share what i know.

I take it then you believe California is willing to vote yes for Cannabis Commerce in 2012? If so why if you don't mind.
