WORST advice ever benassi
the pressure built up, the oil started flowing beautifully... then BOOM the coffee filters blew out and 100% of the tube (28g) was blown out the front alllllll over the trey, wall, concrete, and table I was working on...
Jesus quickest $225 ever spent
lesson learned: USE MESH SCREENS FOR LACK OF EXPLOSIONS
to be fair, I ran my first tube for a friend, also 28G with coffee filters, no problem..... then next time with my weed BOOM! LOL

How long did you run it for at a time! Gotta go a few seconds on and a few off to let it chillax a bit. I usually do 12-15 seconds blasting, then 3-5 seconds with the can off.

Yeah dude.. I didnt let the pressure chill out... though it was running through just fine it seemed for 5-10 seconds!.... Then i used the mesh screen... not bad.. lost like .05
I yielded 4.2 grams of oil.... with like a little less than an oz, and like 1.5g of keif... turned out really well.. pics below
Like I lost an oz.. lesson learned, i still need to shower to rinse the oil off my arms lol
at least fire wasn't involved... I originally had 44g to use, and I only ended up with 4.2g.... so it's a loss but its something I'm just thinking mesh screen is better for this big ass tube...

The okeif tube is suh-weet though for SURE..
Ill just be keeping the screen and band thingy in the freezer, then just give it an alcohol rinse in between sessions.. As with the tube

So I just went and bought the steel turkey baster, hose clamps, filter and cheesecloth. My question is do I use the extra injector attachment that comes with the baster to use for the butane injector? I usually only make dry sieve, but this thread has inspired me. Want to make sure I have the details right.

Very few use the tip and have rigged it to perfectly dispense butane, however most poeple just use the large tip that comes with high quality butane cans like Vector, Colibri, or Power. It fits snug enough to get stuck, and if it does just use a wine bottle cork thingy and yank it out.
