I'm going to share what just happened to me..So it's 8:35 pm. It's thunder storming and lighting here. The basketball game just started (Miami vs Chicago.. GO BULLS!!!) anyway.. i'm just chilling watching the game then all of a sudden all the lights went out.. A FUCKING BLACKOUT. Of course my first concern was my plants.. it pretty much started their dark period 2 and a half hours early so i wasn't really sweating it but i decided to hold 2 flashlights on the plants and hope that the power come back on soon. After about 10 mins of holding the flashlights i realized that the air pumps was off too and that really concerned me so i pulled up a chair and started slapping and stirring the reservoir water with my hand. After about 5 mins of that i realize it wasn't really creating bubbles so i unhooked the air tube from the pump and started to blow.. it was better than nothing. But here where it get funny.. My wife walk into the room and she shine her flashlight on me and ask me what am i doing. I explain to her that i needed to give my plants oxygen since the air pumps not working. She just bust out laughing and say " You giving your plants a blowjob!?!" LOL i couldn't help it but to laugh. I spent the last 45 mins giving my plants a blowjob until the power finally came back on. I'm definitely going to invest in a generator cause that shit was not cool. It seem like my plants suffered a little nute burn during the blackout. Hopefully they recover and everything turn out fine.
That sux about the blackout mane..on the other hand, you do SOO well telling the story with the humor involved lulz I'm sure they'll be fine keep up the good fight!

Lol Sorry about that freemen but yea if u started as a pc stealth grow you probably wasn't expecting them to get as big as they was. As far as my nute schedule i use the actual Advance Nutrient Calculator... Here's the link http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/calc/ I followed the feeding schedule as it was listed full strength. But i also chose a strain that was easy to grow and it could handle the full strength nutes but not every strain is the same so i recommend that you gradually increase your nute strength over time. Here is another good link for Advanced Nutrients http://forum.grasscity.com/advanced-growing-techniques/568336-people-who-use-advanced-nutrients.html

Don't get discourage about your first grow.. Do some more research and try again.. I did a good 4-6 months of non stop reading on growing before i even attempted my first grow.

I changed the calculator to read by Gallons of water instead of Liters. On the AN calculator page after you pick your base nute..change the "What Measurement" to "Imperial" it was easier for me to do it that way cause now the measurement is by fluid ounces (fl oz) . Make sure under "Reservoir Size" you only put the amount of water that is in the reservoir not the actual reservoir size (for example if you are using a 10 gallon reservoir but only use 6 gallons of water make sure you put 6) i measure my nutes using my digital scale.. I place an empty cup on the scale then turn it on so it read 0. make sure my scale is on the "Ounces" setting and then you add the nutrients to the cup till it reach the correct amount of fl oz based on the calculator. Based on me using a 10 gallons reservoir but only 6 gallons of water here's how my last feeding was....

Sensi Bloom A: 3.11 fl oz

Sensi Bloom B: 3.11 fl oz

B-52: 1.56 fl oz

Overdrive: 1.56 fl oz

Bud Candy: 1.56 fl oz

Also throughout the week as the water level decreases i always use plain water to get the water level back to my 6 gallon line.. At first i used to check the ppm and noticed as the water level decreased that the ppm would drop or stay the same so i was using the calculator to try to mix nute for topping my water level and thats where i used to have my ppm skyrocket. So once you add nutes at the beginning of your week just top the water level with plain water that way it will always keep the ppm from skyrocketing since you are constantly diluting the nutrients with plain water

What's up Everybody, Here's the update for day 49 of 12/12.. The temps and humidity is still the same

Lights On Temp: 78-84 degrees
Lights Off Temp: 63-73 degrees
Humidity: Staying at about 30-40
PPM: 1100-1300

If you have been following my grow you know that i have been using one 400w hps and one 400w mh during flowering.. Well since we had the blackout here a couple of days ago my MH bulb acted like it didn't want to work so i replaced it with a hps bulb so now its 2 400w hps bulbs for the remaining of the grow. The plants are not drinking as much water as they use to and i read that this is a sign that they are getting closer to harvest.. (Correct me if i'm wrong) Other than that they are looking pretty good.

Now the Pictures!! (I Can't Believe It's Only 2 Plants)
I still remember my babies

Thanks Wizzle... I'm getting closer and closer to harvest.. Trying to actually let them finish and not cut em too early
Same here. They look done but I know they are not fully done and I don't want premature buds either. It will be worth the wait.
Keep up the good work!!

Congrats on a fine grow! No doubt you're growing some premium herb there, nice and frosty and know you can't wait to harvest the goods. It's encouraging to see other grows that have decent pictures and timeline for me to watch your grow progress knowing that my grow, not too far behind is following a similar track. I know every grow is different and all, I'm talking about the general maturation of the plant. My grow is about 30 days into flowering and I hope the second thirty days is as promising as the first. Looking forward to seeing your harvest and interested in what your final yield ends up. again, congrats on some nice looking stuff.

Thanks, and i completely understand what you mean by looking at other people grows so you can have an idea of what's to come. I'm subbed up for your grow and it's looking like you are going to have similar results. And don't worry i'm not going to leave everybody hanging like i see a couple of growers do when it come down to yield. it seem like after they harvest they never give an update on yield, taste, or high. I'm going to end this thread with a total yield and smoke report every week during the curing process.
