Paid for mods with fake post counts and fake rep ... talk about a classless act for RIU to pull off.

Clearly RIU doesn't care about this site or any of it's members or mods/former mods.

I have no idea what is going through his mind but since the new mods came aboard several times a day while on this site my anti-virus/Internet security software has stopped this site trying to access my credit card number.

I don't know what that is all about but I have not cared much for it and wondered who was behind it and if it was a hack or someone behind the curtain. I am now thinking that the less likely of the two is someone hacked RIU.

If you're paying mods the money has to come from somewhere, doesn't it?​

yes, rollitup gets money for the ads. no there is no PROFIT, that i'm aware of. this site was created as a "hobby". rollitup has another job which i assume generates income. i assume that is where he gets the money to pay whoever he pays. it's really NONE of my business, so i've never really asked.

in the history of rollitup, Stoned Ponys friend is probably the only person to ever let the rollitup family know about someones passing.

I can see it from RIU point of view, there were too many threads about the sudden demise of Stoney. Actually, as the older members die off we may never know it or we would hear about and then we would have too many individual RIP threads.

I do agree that RIU should have given more time for the mourning process and the passing along of the information of the news of his passing. Unless they had a request from the family.

We should not forget that RIU is a business and needs to be run as such.

Edit: Gee, that sounded a little heartless. I'm sorry. We should have some way of letting other members know when someone passes.
