this is whats happening, been doing alot of research on coco grows and the lucas formula
http://thelucasformula.com/
and im completely torn as to what to feed, which way is better, better bang for buck
SOOOO i will be cutting 4-6 clones of this lady
that i just topped at 14-18 days, around there, i forgot exactly what day i topped sorry..
plan is to let her grow out to take 4-6 cuttings, take the the best 4 out of the bunch, 2 will go dwc= 1 lucas formula, 1 lucas formula plus additives, 2 will go in coco= 1 lucas formula, 1 lucas formula plus additives.
to make this easier i will be labeling 'LF' as just the lucas formula
and 'ADD' as the lucas formula plus the additives
DWC (2)
5 gallon buckets with 6in netpot lid
2 airstones in each bucket
dwcLF - GH micro/bloom @ 8ml/16ml, floralicious plus, Hygrozyme, and Great White
dwcADD - same as above with the addition of Florablend, Liquid/dry kool bloom
COCO (2)
3gallon pots
Roots Organic Coco Coir (wanted to get canna coco pro but my local hydro shop doesnt carry it and shipping is absolutely ridiculous to east coast usa)
cocoLF - GH micro/bloom @ 6ml/9ml, 1 gram of epson salt, floralicous plus, Hygrozyme and Great White
cocoADD - same as above with the addition of Florablend, Liquid/dry kool bloom
all will share the same light 600w hps.
im doing this
1. to see if the lucas formula works, i could potentially save a shitload of money
2. see how coco grows out compared to dwc. not just in size of the plant and buds and rate of growth but in flavor and high of smoke also
thats about it i believe.
anyone have questions, ask away!
anyone see something i shouldnt be doing or has a better suggestion to do this battle royale better TELL ME!!! please share your wisdom, i only have 8 months growing and i am FAAAR from a pro. im not even in the triple A... id say im in still in high school lol.
so yea any input let me know, i have awhile before this actually starts as i still need to take the cuttings and the plant is like a month away from that.
