Alright man!!! Around mid august I'll be done with summer semester, I'll pm you and we're going fishing somewhere we can break out one of my baby bubblers or the mini-vape. If they're not biting, we'll come back to my place and load up the big bowl (which holds just over 1/16 packed) and blaze on her, play some Rapala pro fishing on the X-box and chew on some steak! We've been threatening this what 2 years now?

Thanks man but yesterday in broad daylight my connect got home invaded. He said they busted in with guns ready and put him on the ground and robbed him for 5,000 in dro and cash and took 3 nice handguns and his sks.... I will be on a mission for a while. A lighter note happy birthday to me.

ive been getting rain everyday....kinda nice keeping the temps down. my plants are growing so fast. one is pushing 5 ft now and the other is pushing 3 and a half maybe 4 by now its crazy how fast they grow. the summer solstice was yesterday so its all down hill from here guys

Yup, autos don't need a darker light schedule in order to switch to flowering mode. That is one of the beautiful things about them!
As far as finding an auto strain that is resistant to mold:
1. I think Ruderalis and more specifically Sativa strains are more resilient to mold; therefore, try to get a strain that has Sativa background (they'll all have ruderalis mixed into them)
2. If you're growing outdoors there's not much you can do to control the weather or overall humidity but you can use
-Bacillus subtilis, sprayed on plants will prevent B. cinerea
-Potassium bicarbonate, an active ingredient in pH Up increases the alkalinity. Alkaline environments inhibit mold.
-Sulfur, sprayed on plants to prevent mold
-Neem & Sesame Oil, form a barrier and inhibit mold germination
I haven't had much experience growing in Florida yet; however, I like to use Neem Oil as a foliar spray & I've never had a problem with mold. Let us know what you end up picking!

Thanks for the info. I started Nirvana short riders in April and harvested last week. The late summer is more worrisome due to higher humidity. I have two more now growing and hopefully they will make it. For my next order I'll try to stay with the Satvia if possible. By the way, the two short riders produced about 1 1/2 oz and will go into jars soon. Tried a little with a quick dry and am impressed with it. Thanks all.

No, Sir! Not at all. Growers will experience a great amount of growth after putting their plants into a flowering light schedule inside or outside. Many growers say that they have experienced more growth in the flowering stage as opposed to the veg cycle. Your babies will only stop growing when they have used all resources (amount of light, nutrients, etc) available to them or when their genetics tell them to stop. However, you may experience a little periodic stunt while the plant is transitioning into flowering mode. This is especially true for indoor growers that cut their light schedule from 18+ to 12 hours per day without gradually decreasing the hours.

What are you growing? Some strains will begin to flower under 18 hours even though they are not autos. Simon from Serious Seeds says to veg all their plants under 24hours light because some phenos will flower under 18 hours light. I found this out with a White Russian that flowered in my veg tent.
Miami doesn't even get 14 hours of sun.

Question: I am two weeks from chop on my outdoor auto grow and I want to try a week long dark period. I finally haw the opportunity to bring them in and have heard this improves bud and resin production.
Is the dark period started a week from harvest or a week after they reach maturity? Kinda dumb question, but I can only grow outside. Thanks in advance.
