Hey Irishboy,
Should I get ready to cut these plants now or post better pics to look at? Day 78 since I switched to 12/12 but didn't know to watch actual day when they begin flowering and start my 7 - 9 week ( Purple Cadillac strain) count down to harvesting.

u go by the day to switch to 12/12. Never go by what they say flowering time is!! you have to check the trics to know when done. need a scope to do that.

I am interested in trying led's in my 2nd tent. (great buds my friend). What would you reccomend for best led set up with regard to # of plants ,size of tent ect.?

i would just do what u feel is best. everyone is going to have their own best setup for their own needs, i cant really say that for u.

I'm about to invest in two led lights. I want something comparable to 1000W HPS but without the heat
I need superior product, American made, customer service in english
Cost is relative but I was thinking like 600 each. I need someone who can steer me in the right direction. I take growing very seriously

ya still around just on a new thread this is a older one.

ive yet to see a american made good led grow light. i really dont think u will find one. every one gets their lights made in China. allot will say american made but the truth is a few parts are from america

Hey thx for the reply...here's the blackstar I'm interested in. Dude at the company tells me they are getting great reviews about them. It's way cheaper to get a couple more 1000W HPS units set up but I like the lack of heat in LEDs and less energy consumption. So I just need a nod from someone who knows before I commit. not true. a few things are made here and the rest in china. just like they will call their lights the 250w led or whatever and its really only uses 133w. its all sales scams.

i am sorry i havent seen this light proven enough in journals and grows to give u that nod. i wont recommend something that i am not sure about and for that matter if Black star was the only option for u i would go with HID. i think their 600w is only 250w or something like that? i know its allot less then 600w. Google will show u this needed info. also please dont believe the sales guys when saying their getting great reviews with them, their workers.owners for a company that pays their bills. the real proof os in the journals and grows with trusted growers.

ive seen some frosted plants with the BS lights but most compelling about the foot print because of the 60 degree leds and i have not seen them proven to out yield HID.
