Here's the last bit of my harvest, 80 grams dry for a grand total of 6.5 ounces. That's a far cry from my last harvest of 11 oz. I doubt I'll be attempting another sog for awhile. So I guess it's back to the drawing board for me. Looks like when I start up again I'll be going back to what I know best.

that still looks amazing man. i know ur disappointed in ur yield... but the bud looks amazing! ive been disappointed in my yields for the last like 4-5 plants! lol. theyve all been like under an ounce per plant i used to get 2-3+ ounces dry a plant..... its wierd cuz thats wen i used to use only CFL's... then i worked up to my 400 watt HPS.. and my yields cut by like 50%..... =/

Yeah that sounds kinda odd. Are you still growing the same strain when you were using your cfls? If not it could be strain dependent because I know different strains will produce different yields.

What up my friends? I hit the jackpot today and I thought I'd share it with y'all. I cant remember if I mentioned in this thread but a few weeks ago my 600 W ballast went out and I had to return it at a cost of 50 bucks to get it there and back. Well the new ballast came back today along with a brand new AC hood and two bulbs HPS/MH. That same set up cost me $237.00 bucks back in January. Anyways I'm happier than a pig in shit. I still got to buy a new ballast to have both setups running and I'm hoping I can find a good deal on one. If so I might be running 1200 watts when I get back up and running.

Did a little moving today and beat from the heat, it was in the 90's today. I'm getting ready to take a shower and smoke a bowl and chill for the rest of the night.

well i grew a full moon that yielded 2 1/2 ounces under CFL's... then a clone... vegged for the same time i had under my 400 watter.. adn it pulled like 1 3/4. =/ i had alotta CFL power tho.. had like 8-10 bulbs on 1 plant about 2 inches away... soo its not like i just had a couple hangin above it or anything.. ooooo welllll. lol. nuttin i can do now

How is it in terms of taste, smell and potency as compared to your higher yeilding weed?
There seems to be so many factors at play with cultivating MJ.
As u know i have been growing super lemon haze now for a couple years. My first 2 grows were in my phototron with Flouros only throughout the entire grow. Im not sure if it was the particular pheno that i grew or what but that one SLH plant i grew was by far the most potent of the lot. wierd hun, now with my 600 wat MH and HP bulb, it didnt make my plants any more potent than the damn phototron? baffeled.. and i completely stressed out that high potent lemon as well.. makes me think that stress really really helps with producing more potent weed. anyway the experiments continue...hahaha.. take care dropa..dropa by me journal later i have some numbers as well.. later ambs

It's a night and day difference between the two pheno's. Taste and smell is kinda hard to say, I keep hearing people talk about a diesel or fuel taste to there weed and if I had to describe it I would use those terms. As far as the potency goes I'd have to rate it a 7 compared to a 10 from my favorite pheno. I don't have anymore of the less potent pheno because I just got rid of all 8 zips of it today. I had 5 zips left from the grow before last plus 3 from this last harvest and at 250 a pop I"m a happy camper right about now.

Hey Amber what's up. I've just been packing and taking a few loads at a time over to my moms house. That way when the big day arrives all I should have to do is move the big stuff. All the growing equipment is over there already plus a lot of other stuff.

It'll probably be a good month or two before I start growing again. I haven't seen the old grow space in quite some time and it definitely isn't what I remember. It's gonna be a project from start to finish to get it how I want and I'll be sure to document it's metamorphosis from start to finish. This is just a guess but it's gonna be like a 10X5 space or 50 sq feet. That's a pretty big upgrade from my two old grow rooms of 3X3 space 9 sq feet per room for a total of 18 sq feet.

I'm gonna try to make the new grow space into two rooms, one for veg and one for flower. With the flower room a little bigger than the veg room. Then I got to work out how I'm gonna run the intakes and the exhaust.

As far as what I'm growing next this is what I got to work with.

the menu you have on tap sounds very delicious ...with a very nice variety of different kinds of mouth watering tastes. One for the morning, afternoon, evening. One for going out, staying in, One for sports, tv, reading.. hahahha.. dinner, lunch, desert.. I have a Pineapple strain growning right now..lol.. .The Burmese sounds very exotic.
Yes, take some pictures of your new space. We would love to see the transitions. I hope you have enough Northern Lights #5 to make it all the way through the project. Yeah it'll put the couch lock to ya alright but after smoking it for so long I've built up a bit of a tolerance to it so it's not nearly as bad anymore. Also I got plenty of it left (like a QP) to last me for a while. Plus I still have 1.5oz of popcorn and a QP of sugar leaf that I can make hash or BHO from, so I'm set for quite awhile.

You and me both man, I've been holding on to those seeds for quite some time now and can't wait to get em started. It's only been a month or so since I stopped growing but if feels like an eternity.

I'm heading over there today with another load so I'll be sure to grab my camera and shoot some pics for you guy's and gals. It doesn't look like much now but I got some serious plans for sure.

Hey everybody, as promised here is the area I’ve got to work with. Don’t look like much now because it’s been used for storage for the past 20 years. I got a lot of work to do before it’s ready but it ought to be worth the trouble by the time I’m done.

First couple of pics is all my grow gear. I didn’t realize I had so much shit until I had to box it all up.

Turn left and were on our way to the old grow room my pops and I had. After I moved out 20 plus years ago we kept it going for a little while but in the end my pops closed up operations because we were both to busy to keep up with it. I didn’t have time to come over every day to check on the plants because my pops mainly relied on me to take care of everything. So after I moved he just shut er down.

Alright were getting ready to walk in and get some inside and outside shots. Aslo just to be clear, by the time I’m done it wont look nothing like this.

Here’s more shots looking out. I measured it out today and it’s 4.5’ wide and 10 to 20 feet long depending on how I want to do it. I got two options and the first option is to build a wall at the end of the existing wall going left to right which would give me roughly 45 square feet. Or the second option would be to I extend the wall to the back wall which would give me roughly 90 sq feet of growing space and I”m seriously considering the second option because I want to have three rooms. One for storage of grow supplies, one room for veg and one room for flower.

Okay I hope y’all enjoyed the little preview of my new grow room. I’m gonna start a new thread once I get it all cleared out and begin construction. As always any comments, Ideas or suggestions are always welcome.

Yeah I hear ya loud and clear my friend. It really does suck not being able to grow right now. Especially when you had a rhythm down and harvesting every 9 to 10 weeks. Starting over sucks because it'll be at the least 4 months before I harvest anything. The way it looks now I wont have any plants to harvest until December.

Oh well life goes on and sometimes you just got to suck it up and go with the flow. Check out post # 531 and all your questions will be answered my friend.

The photographs you presented us are filled with so much past and so much future. I think that this must be such a hard time for you but I know that everything is going to be so amazing in the end.

The space you have is incredible and i know your going to have a blast fixing it up. If its going to be anything as sweet as your last growing space then we are all in for a big treat.... and i know it is going to be. because your such a perfectionist!!!
