I hope you are pleasantly surprised with the results...its a good alternative, for a few plants, if you don't/can't do an exhaust fan with a carbon filter.

Maybe you should really consider buying or building a carbon filter. Actually remove the offending molecules rather than attempts to mask the odor. Air smells clean not like a whorehouse.

What I would do is get an old shirt, a cheap ass bottle of cologne and dump it all over the shirt. Then put the shirt someone near the front door, back door, windows... you know?
I wouldn't recommend spraying old spice on or anywhere near buds that aren't in jars. I got some old spice bud once and never talked to that dealer again. Fuck old spice buds, Idgaf if you get higher smoking that shit.
