Lookin good sir.... how long in that soil and did you start feeding?

If you haven't started i would start it looks like they could have some more food, they look somewhat scrawny for that pot size but really healthy!

It's not like your doing anything wrong, it's just you could suppliment their growth a bit...


Man I can't wait for September... I think I may start again around then when the temps start dropping, then it will be cold by the time my babies are done flowering.


I've got to pick up some type of florescent lights for veg though... I have a 250w HPS/MH but I don't love the MH in veg.. Even though the bulb was $120 I think I'll just buy a small floro rig for them to veg for like 2.5 weeks. I'm not thinking CFL either.

They are about 10 weeks in that FF ocean forest soil. Started in party cups and transplanted to the 3 gal pots pictured. I've been feeding ff grow big and big bloom for past couple of weeks... Also I think the slow growth is due to the fact that I just added the 400w a couple weeks ago and they had very minimal flourescent light to start (4 t12 40watts and 2 t8 32 watts to be exact) now I just have the 2 t8 32 flouros on them with the 400w MH bulb. I need to order another light soon, once I do I will start flowering the clones... I have a cfl set up, but I'm trying to ''upgrade'' from that...

Damn $120 for a bulb!... I paid less than that for my 400w mh/hps with ballast and all...

Sounds about right, I was going to guess not intense enough light second but it looks like your getting that covered. They are looking great though not even stretchy at all so they can still take off like crazy sluts

It's Hortilux Baby!

I'm not sure why the Metal Halide is so expensive, but it's actually REALLY nice, super duper blue, and really clear vibrant light, love to just stare at it. Even if it didn't help the plants I would have bought it just because it's so much easier on my eyes.

The Hortilux HPS is totally worth checking out, I think it's about 80 bucks, less if you have a discount account with your hydro store

Damn... I've never seen that thread... THanks!! I'm a cheap skate, so I will run the bulb out that came with my light kit then definately replace with a hortilux... Awesome man.

Yeah definitely use your bulb first i hear it's a good idea to replace a HID bulb after about 2-3 cycles as the lumens (brightness) starts dying out, even if the bulb is still turning on..

Omg! definately my favorite out of the 4 strains I'm smokin' on...

Unfortunately my buddy that has been growing this strain for years is givin' it up and what I got is off of the last batch... I've been smokin' this strain off of him for over a year now... and luckily in that year and ounces and ounces of product I have one random seed I've come across stashed away for the right day...

I don't know the exact %, but is definately sativa dominant... I've never grown it, but my buddy has for years and it seems he has it about every 3 months, and is always cured at least 2 weeks before I even get ahold of it... But I don't know exact details sorry...

well i am loving sats the more am around them, i wish i could post this guys grow here , he has some super sats growing all land race, he says the wait stops being anoyying when you got over 80 plants growing but for me starting up its slow one month into flower frost just started to appear and not on the leaves yet

It is, I've seen it in High times, and the stuff I get looks damn similar... Good idea, I don't know if it's too late to get clones or if the one seed I got is all that remains... I like it alot... I currently have four strains going and one 400w. So I definately wanna wait until I got optimum conditions and can do it right seeing as that I only have one seed.

Major updates...

I'm finally where I want to be... Re-arranged veg closet and set-up flowering room...
I switched the MH bulb to HPS and threw my oldest clone in the flower closet... so right now I'm at 1 flowering bubba kush under 400w HPS, I hooked up my previous flouros for the moms and clones and have 4 moms and 6 rooted clones currently under (6) 4'' flouros... (4) 40w t12's & (2) 32w t8's... (In the future I plan on upgrading to t5's) My plan is to throw at least 1 clone a week into the flower closet to get a lil' perpetual grow goin. So here's some pics and hopefully it gets better from here, enjoy...

Thanks, it was nice to finally get to that point, with the clones and growth and all... It was well worth the wait... That's about 4 hours of work I posted LOL. Can't wait for the buds...

Oh yea forget to mention, Picked up this happy frog soil today, all my other plants are in FFOF, and the new clones I'm trying out in the Happy Frog. Just wanted to try something different see if I get better results.
