We're talking about nowhere fucking New Mexico. It was one of the few businesses that actually offered a living wage and health insurance. We are one of the poorest states in the nation and jobs are few and far between in a GOOD economy. People put up with a lot when they have few options.
you're on the internet all day. the opportunities here are damn near endless. ;)

nobody is forced to sell themselves to anyone. it's that fine line that separates "work" from slavery. you DO have a choice. :)

once again first you have to own a garage, second you have to own tools, third you need wood, and im sure all of your ideas require some kind of initial investment and therefore initial risk, how many people will pay you enough to live on off your furniture, rather than buy at ikea
you can start by walking the streets collecting scrap metal, maybe mow lawns, offer to help elderly people shop for a small fee, ...

you're seeking excuses instead of actual answers. i'm onto your game. ;)

shall we ask "what is wrong with america" again? ;)

Yes and I have put in hundreds and hundreds of applications for online work and job applications. The trouble is with my degree and experience I am being told that I am "over-qualified." My second problem is far more personal and involves a family member that needs 24 hour care. I can't just move out of the area. I won't go into detail because no one really gives a shit and it ain't anyone's problem but mine. Let's just say it won't be much longer. In the meantime, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. The loss of my older brother which left his wife (who has MS) behind and his children has put an extra burden on me as well. They live on the property and need all the help they can get. I'm just the little ol' fart that can do that. I wished I lived in yours and Johnny's world where everything is so black and white. Real life is far messier than that. :)

Why are you stuck in the idea of working for someone else? Stop being the bitch, and become the pimp ;)

So what do you think about paying the govt to shut off the communications your paying to use? What do you think about the people theyve been murdering? What do you think of the cerfeewes their implementing?

Trading hours for dollars rarely works out, this is why i have chosen to work for myself.I can work 10% of the time and still make as much as working for someone else.Today i was home by noon(left at 530 am)and made as much money as a person who makes 20$ an hour does in a 40 hour week, granted fuel, insurance etc etc has to come out of that but come on,im my own boss,i make the rules,if i dont like you i tell you to get bent i dont wanna work for you,i fish all the time, whats not to like?A students grow up to work for B students who work for C students,if you cant grasp this concept i can extrapolate further but basically dont be a sheep and just follow along with the rest of the flock, break away and let them follow you!

Being a prostitute is where it's at, no up front investment and 100% profit.
Anyone care about communication blocking?

jk, I could care less, just another tactic used by the man, if the man leaves me the fuck alone I leave the man alone. I don't protest shit, I have plenty to protest but find it easier going thru life always being someones submissive little bitch , which brings us to back to working for the man , I find it easier to collect a paycheck I know just what the amounts going to be, working for yourself may be nice and all but you don't have a guaranteed paycheck.

Ill chime in here, I personally feel its a disgrace and who would have thought. They should be fighting for whats right because if this continues all hell will break lose, I am sick of people throwing their recyclables in the garbage I mean don't you guys know the toll that takes on the environment?! I mean, think of all the little fishy swimming & getting stuck in an empty FoxFarm Grow Big Bottle.. Just thinking of it breaks my heart, I just wanted to share how I feel on the subject and would like to thank FDD for starting threads on matters such as these. Save the Whales. o_O
