ran out of meds last friday, so i started drinkin with dinner, for the first time in months, and now im pretty darn lit.
you're on the internet all day. the opportunities here are damn near endless. We're talking about nowhere fucking New Mexico. It was one of the few businesses that actually offered a living wage and health insurance. We are one of the poorest states in the nation and jobs are few and far between in a GOOD economy. People put up with a lot when they have few options.
you can start by walking the streets collecting scrap metal, maybe mow lawns, offer to help elderly people shop for a small fee, ...once again first you have to own a garage, second you have to own tools, third you need wood, and im sure all of your ideas require some kind of initial investment and therefore initial risk, how many people will pay you enough to live on off your furniture, rather than buy at ikea
Yes and I have put in hundreds and hundreds of applications for online work and job applications. The trouble is with my degree and experience I am being told that I am "over-qualified." My second problem is far more personal and involves a family member that needs 24 hour care. I can't just move out of the area. I won't go into detail because no one really gives a shit and it ain't anyone's problem but mine. Let's just say it won't be much longer. In the meantime, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. The loss of my older brother which left his wife (who has MS) behind and his children has put an extra burden on me as well. They live on the property and need all the help they can get. I'm just the little ol' fart that can do that. I wished I lived in yours and Johnny's world where everything is so black and white. Real life is far messier than that.you're on the internet all day. the opportunities here are damn near endless.
nobody is forced to sell themselves to anyone. it's that fine line that separates "work" from slavery. you DO have a choice.
