thats what im running, im hoping its great, i see some of your plants look a lil droopy as do some of mine, what is that about?
The pics were taken right after the lights turned back on.. The plants droop at night, it's perfectly normal and they perk back up within a hour of lights being on.thats what im running, im hoping its great, i see some of your plants look a lil droopy as do some of mine, what is that about?

Could be normal, they get accustomed to the light schedule and ''know'' when it's about to end... Could also be signs of a problem starting, just keep a close eye the next few days and see if any other problems start to persist.the last 2 days around the last 3 hours of light they look droopy some of them, ?????
Haha yea, I've had this bulb just chillin' for weeks, got used to the MH then I pop this in and now I understand why yall pics look the way they do lol. I'm super excited to see what I can get out of this HPS...ohhh yeah.... love the orange reassuring glow of the HPS.
Hey I'm glad you asked, I was wondering if my positioning is good... The light is 16'' from canopy with a 86 f. temp. Is this ideal?Youll get mad resin son!
How close is that light though? Keep it intense, baby!

Yea I noticed the pic gone, don't know what happened, wish I had seen it. Yea it's a 400w HPS. I can stand to keep my hand there for 40 seconds, it does get really warm, but it's not intolerable. My photo disappeared
What kind of light is it? 400w?
Theres a big chart for distance/light intensity. It's a chart for the inverse square law of light intensity.
You should put your hand over your canopy, if your hand feels uncomfortable at all after 30-40 seconds, your light is too close.
Intensity is important, but don't keep your light SO close that your hand gets uncomfortable - because that means your plants are too..
Put an oscilating fan in there, and are you drawing air out/in?Yea I noticed the pic gone, don't know what happened, wish I had seen it. Yea it's a 400w HPS. I can stand to keep my hand there for 40 seconds, it does get really warm, but it's not intolerable.

Just fans pushing air can take like 3-5F off your canopy.... not to mention strengthen the plant structure...
Warm is ok... just remember your plants are sitting in that all day, and they will grow better when they are relaxed, not burning and getting the light they need..
Not sure exactly what it is... It may be possible... I'll get whatever I need.is there no way of gettin a 100mm extractor..
That looks like something that may work... I'll have to take a look around and see what I can find here in the UShttp://www.grotec.cohttp://www.grotec.co.uk/products.php?department_id=9
