I could be wrong but I think codeine can be sold over the counter in canada? I know for sure that you can in many parts of europe.

the purple stuff also has promethazine, an antihistamine, which by itself can make you drowsy, in the same sense that benadryl would. mixed together it has a pretty nice effect, because the promethazine fights against nausea that can occur when taking opiates. but too much promethazine in your system can make you feel very not good.

i prefer my syrups with hydrocodone in them
