have just started to grow my own and have my first plant i am sure is a female.
I was wanting to know if i have got this sexing right and how far along you professionals think she is any advice would be appreciated thanks pic enclosed
 
looks like a female to me.and its also looks like you have alternating nodes..how old is she?
 
I have no Idea if that plant is male or female or how old it is by looking at that picture.
One would have to see the whole plant to tell the age or whatever and one would need to see the sex parts of a plant to tell the sex.
You have some more reading to do I think.

i have had her about 3 months or more but at first was just in my window growing. as she started to look more like a good plant i decided to start lighting it about a week ago. since then i have noticed all the white and orange hairs sprouting out but to be honest im not sure on actual age sorry
 
if youve had her for 3 months, you should probably start thinking about flowering..
 
ok ty for your advice one last question if i may how long is the flowering period and should i be feeding it any nutients as i have never fed her anything but water. If so what ones shall i use im in the uk and have no hydroponics shop near by so would have to be something i could easy get my hands on thanks
 
hi hibbzy im a uk grower and you can get most of the stuff you need from ebay including nutrients so the ones i use are for the veg stage i use canna vega terra and for the flowering i use canna flores terra it needs to be terra because your growin in soil i also add canna boost accelerator this is a bit more expensive but worth it then at week 5 for a week to 10 days you can add pk 13/14 to give a pottasium and phosphourus boost to the plant which they love hope this helps if you add these you will get a much bigger yield from you little lady happy growin
