I Feel A Disturbance In The Force

When luke was attacking the deathstar, pre-yoda Vader felt he was "strong in the force." But the whole time they had Leia captured, he never felt anything. Anyone else find this odd?

Meaning, Vader didn't sense anything from Leia? Maybe Luke is way stronger? Not really sure, but now I'm pondering....

I never considered that before....hmmmm maybe she is a half sister? But there is no evidence to support that....
If anything, quite the opposite. Padme bore twins which were seperated at birth. The answer is simple, we were never told the Liea had Jedi powers. The original prophecies told of A Skywalker that would balance the force. It just never said which Skywalker. The only real evidence we had is that Luke and Liea both 'sensed' each other, but we never saw her really perform Jedi tricks or abilities. I may be forgetting something, but Im pretty sure.

I think its because george lucas made it up as he went along. like everyone else
By made up you mean stole from Frank Herbert of course.

Well, they were twins, and they were able to communicate telepathically. That was before Luke knew Vader was good ole' dad and he had what, 3 hours of training? They sensed it in Baby Vader before he knew jack shit about being all jedified.
