You guy's egos are out of control lol.
People ask because they want an answer more specific to their situation than a computer can give them. If you really want to complain about something, complain about the mods not doing enough to clean up the forums of duplicate and redundant threads (like this one for example...)
Just avoid the whole Newbie Central room if it's seriously that big of an issue, damn!
Besides, if we didn't have noobs asking simple questions then we wouldn't be able to feed our egos by answering them right? I mean what's the problem here really?

Beansly says our egos are out of control. Beansly says we are "pretending we're better than everybody else." Beansly is upset about "the hypocrisy of it all." And then Beansly does what most people who complain about hypocrisy do, and that's immediately be hypocritical themselves. So if Beansly doesn't like it when we pretend we're better than everybody else, why would he make comments like "your little opinion," when responding to others' views? And we are talking about pointless, cluttering threads, and that is relevant to my experience on this board.
Look, nobody is saying "my topic is more important than yours." We are saying that your "topic" has already been a topic so goddamned often that it would be very easy to find it with a simple search. Why is that difficult to understand? Is it the pot?
And you frame these posters as "poor people who really need help." Jesus Christ, you're practically a "caregiver" by responding to them. And not helping them (although telling them about the search function is an attempt to help) is akin to stepping on the necks of innocent and defenceless kittens who are super cute.

That ship doesn't bother me at all..and here is something i wanna say..this site is to help the new guy right? Growers helping.growers..well why not look at it like this..all the knuckleheads posting the same newbie questions over and over first are our brothers and sisters in our struggle and id bet that they are the ones that need the help the most..take it as a chance to meet a new grower and help someone out at the same time???
Not to mention many of the old threads have wrong answers... like really wrong answers and terrible advice.. even i know this... many times ill be looking for an answer to a question and ill find tons of answers, but i only look for answers from well reputable posters... this can be very hard to find sometimes and yajust gotta ask again! i could only dream to have people like fdd or HeathR answer all new posts

FDD, i remember about a year ago ish you were all over the threads answering people with awsome knowledge.. then i think u took a little break and then i did too... i came back and ur back and im so happy... thanks for sharing all your knowledge, u definately paid your dues for this site and im so thankful and many others.. thanks!

I think most of you guys on here know that this whole thread was freakin joke to start with, and I spend as much time as anyone on here anymore answering questions and helping people out. I know alot of people read the first post, and just jump to that conclusion that I'm a dickhead and maybe some people think I am, haha,.... hell my wife does. But it is fun to stir up shit every once in a while!
