Huh. is it possible you folks take this "rep" thing a bit too seriously? By the way, with the "Mods" in this thread, why hasn't this been moved to the "toke 'n talk" forum? This has absolutely nothing to do with growing marijuana. Just a few folks blabbing away and increasing their post count and repping each other. Not what the growing forum was intended for, in my opinion.

yeah we actually have a thread not being taken over by people ^ that come in and post randomly. I lot of us have been actually talking about growing during the time. You want every non-growing comment to be banned from the forum unless it's in T&T?

Heh, easy Disco. How about you find me something substantive about growing marijuana within the last 15 to 20 pages of this thread. (I haven't read the entire thing). I'll wait. Better yet, show me what you've posted about marijuana growing in this thread. I understand that some threads will necessarily contain off-topic comments. This thread, however, is mainly just folks smoking out and talking about random stuff. There's nothing wrong with that! But this is not the section for that. I'm no genius, but the owner of this site set up forum topics for a reason. And Mods for a reason. Both of which are being ignored here. If that's the way it goes, so be it. Then let us all know it's a free for all, and we can post off-topic bullshit whenever and wherever we please.

If you want, move it to T&T and let us keep our thread if you think it's violating that we don't spend 100% of the time posting about growing. I really don't care where it is but threatening to close or delete it when it could just as easily been moved is a lot more civil.

Hey fabfun, I don't see the need in re-posting pics from my journal into a thread that isn't mine and doesn't have anything to do with growing. I see you're trying to steer this thread in a different direction, and I can appreciate that. But if anyone is interested in my grow, they can go to my journal and post away. I don't want to be redundant. That's the point of having a journal. I'm older than most folks here and feeling a bit punchy tonight. Otherwise, I wouldn't even waste my time. Cheers.

Also been flushin plants like crazy, my tap water is usually like a 7.5 ph for the last 3 weeks I thought I was getting P def. or somethin, turned out the water dropped to like 5.5 and I have to flush the fuckers.

2 I think are gonna be fine, this one is toast. I don't even know what strain it is it was a UFO I threw in. 7 weeks into flower and no buds at all.

Last 2 weeks of flowering stunted by ph lock...FAIL

it does get irritating but im a n00b who thought i could grow an lb with 12 cfls...hahaha.

When i started i used nothing but cfls, power strips, those little attachments to plug them into said power strip and beyond that just some soil, nutes and beans...that was literally it...oh and a fan...

i didnt get into flowering before i decided to swap out the cfls for a HID light and never looked back...

People think they can just plant a few seeds and BOOM 20lbs because, "hey its a plant, it'll just grow huge on its own with water" not true...

you gotta put in the work if you want the reward. sure cfls are good for those who don't smoke much or often as you can get a few zips with cfls no problem however i dont grow just to support my own habit. i also have 3 friends and my gf who all prosper off my growing. between the 4 of them they cover all my growing costs (for the most part) so i dont mind sharing the wealth. works great for me and i still get enough to where i can pretty much smoke without worrying about running out.

i haven't been dry in 3+ years now haha.

but yeah...to the n00bs: read, read, and read some more. i read forums for about 9mos on growing before ever planting a bean and i started with some bagseed (which is indeed the way to go...dont pay for beans unless you know what you're doing or it'll be a huge waste)

I'm in a bad mood lol out of 3 attempts on these iced grapefruit from female seed's xline, 2 geminated and both died within 3 days of sprouting. I'm gonna be stuck in the cup off with bagseed. And still win.

I've got 2 DNA SAGE regulars on their 2nd set of leaves, 2 of 4 "black domina(bagseed pretty much from trash land cannabisseeds.com, worst rated site ever but cheap as fuck), and I threw another of my Iced Grapes in. Got 1 left. Worse comes to worse I got plenty of seeds, problem is they are either A. auto flower B. for my next real grow or C. 10 weeks+ flowerers. Don't think I have time to crack and veg a seed in 10 days lol.

My Next grow: tangerine dream, vanilla kush, chocolope, pineapple express, Dinafem amnesia, NYC 47

I've all but lost my current grow, except one plant. My $100 ph soil tester decided to be full of shit and the ph and mg deficiencies I've been battling were actually my ph being 4.8. It's been quite a week, especially after writing a goddamn guide on soil growing. Spent too much time designing my new grow room and ignored my current one.

This thread was never about growing from the very beginning. All the growing stuff has been us talking and B.S.ing around while just kinda posting on here. A bunch of people who stuck around after a flamer got beat down. This is probably the most civil thread of this length that you're gonna find, since we got Mr. I had noobs off it that is.
