:leaf: Framed up our green house and rain shade for the winter Friday night and Saturday, :leaf: I all so think we are getting some light pollution on the taller tops since they have grown just about the back fence height and gets the street light pollution. My dumb azz neighbor 2 houses down and behind us put up a huge cfl security light that was flooding the back yard. I fixed that a while back by extending the fence height on the side fence. The street light is much higher and it is about a block away but comes in. I bought 2 black shade screens 6 x 20 and had it all nicely stapeled to the top and halfway down one of the sides. I had that finished yesterday when the sun was mostly gone. Today during our full sun I was not happy with how much it blocked out the sun.:-( and still had some slight light pollution at night time . So now I have 60.00 of black shade screen i don't need. Anyone need some ? Make me a offer or trade.;-) We will be covering with black plastic at night time. This really sucks because this will have to be a yearly thing during flowering unless I shoot the lights out . :-P

Can you make a sliding black curtian next to your frame? Then you can just slide it out and in when you need to. Perhaps a simpl rope off your deck bottom over to a tree or pole. Then hook some rings on your shade screen making a sliding curtian.

First day of Summer today and the longest day of Sunlight. The days will start shortening from here. Happy Summer Soltice everyone !
I use miracle grow potting mix too. lol. But when I added some mg nutes this year, I burned the shit out of em. Next year I'm staying away from the nutes until I start flowering.

It sure would be nice to have black pull curtains around the sides and just have to cover the top.. mmmmmmmm gots some thinkings to do. lol  :leaf:

:leaf: know that's why MG gets beat down so much. Not necessarily the soil but the grower. In Vegg it's easy to see them wanting Nitrogen and only feed when lower leaves start to yellow or become off color. Some strains are nutrient sensative to start with. Our plants outside I could not burn. They are very demanding of food. LOL ! Once our MG soil is gone(pretty soon) we are gonna try Kellogs Organic. I bought three bags of it and then come to find out from another member that he's had trouble with it outdoors with white mold straight out off the bag. I might cook ours first in the oven.:bigjoint:

Yeah, I used MG for years when I first started growing indoors, with no problems. For my first outdoor grow this year, I'm using Dynagro Foliage Pro and Jack's Classic Blossom Booster. Much cheaper than most bottled nutes (esp. the "organic" ones). Sure, I'd like to grow "organic" buds, but these plants are much bigger (and eat a lot more) than I'm used to growing indoors, so the "chemical" nutes are much more economical. I've had very few problems so far. I'll hold off on final judgment until I can taste the end product from this grow...but I had no complaints about my buds grown with MG in the past.

Looks like you got your rain shield up just in time TWS. Good luck with the worms. I think (fingers crossed) that I finally have a handle on them. 3 days now I haven't found one. I like 5150's idea for the slide shade.

Correction: I burned them when I added the bloom booster. They're still doing ok. Just lost a lot of leaves on some of them. I think the heavy rains helped them out a little bit. They're looking better as of today. Sort of an inground flush I guess. Didnt think that was possible. lol

P.S. My Grandson races on 'blue' bikes!lol!
Nuthin wrong with Blue....or yellow if you're as old as I am :)
I remember riding my '82 yz 250 from my house to a buddy's place and then on to some PG&E land.
Sounds mundane enough but this trip was by way of blossom hill road and Almaden Expressway (for any south bay guys), about seven miles though town (city) - what a degenerate redneck I was. HAA. Never got caught, Amazing.
