OK so here it goes I have no pics to show sadly no camera anyways here it goes I'm growing on my closet, I have a 4x4x6 tent, in it I have two lights one a led that literally produces no heat and then a 600 hps and wow that motherfucker shot my room up 25 fucking degrees! anyways I have a AC on the outside of the tent its squirrel caged and pumping cold air into the tent anyways I have it going now. Furthermore I have my carbon filter with fan hooked up to duct then to hps and out with ducting to other side of tent and out to closet.

with both running its 90 degrees in the closet 100 in the room

i noticed a huge temp increase from a 400 to a 600...something dont seem right tho...is hot air being picked up and thrown back in somehow? i can operate at about 79 with the a/c on but only if the air is bieng dumped 100%...i fucked up with my rig before and couldnt figure out why it was still so hot..that was why, hot air was gettin picked back up and moved back into the grow...dunno if that will hellp your case, but it did for me

and wtf I read people saying suck air through filter wtf its blowing not sucking
What, why would you blow air into the tent through the filter...that would defeat the purpose of the filter. Considering if you pull air through the filter it cleans the air that is already in your tent and pulls hotter air out as well

I can't think of how it would get heat again besides the AC but fuck idk becoming too costly and waste of my time

Dude dont give up! Never give up on MaryJane. She is easy to work with...you just gotta fix that temp man. re-arrange your ducting and figure out to to make it RIGHT!

Is the ballast in the tent? This could contribute to the excessive heat, more often than not, problems like these have the easiest solutions...if nit ballast, add another, or bigger fan, and if still heat issues, you may wanna look into better vent system. Hope I was of some use. Good luck!

Invest in a cool tube, and purchase a proper fan that has at least 200 cfm. Both of these things can be found on ebay for a decent discount.

Pull air rather than pushing it. This means place your duct fans in the exhaust areas, blowing(pulling) air out.

If you still have heat issues, get an intake fan, but make sure it has less cfm then the exhaust. this is important. you always want to be pulling out more than is coming in, negative pressure.

Make sure your ducting is as straight as possible, air flow is hindered with turns.

I push air, though my ducting is lame.. I probably get about 10% air flow. ^_^ with the condition my ducting is in.

Though I am in the hills & always a breeze through the room with garage sized doors I can open up.

Just a thought, but is there any way you could vent your exhaust outside, this should lower your room temp and in turn lower your tents temp.

make sure to send the exaust from the A/C outside the house . Not back into the room . I leave the door to my closet open all day with the house a/c running. I only close the door at night.
