Ash as fertilizer

Ok, so I just decided earlier this week to use my medical marijuana ashes as fertilizer. I just dumped my first...I'd say quarter of ash on to my biggest plant. I'm just going to use it on the one plant, due to lack of ash. I get a O from the dispensary a week, and plan on dumping and O's worth of ash a week until the pot it's in gets too full for my liking.

What are peoples thoughts on how well this will turn out? Should I continue to use sprinkles of MG in my water, or will the nutes they used to grow my smoke (and the burned buds in general with minimal, but some plant material left.) be enough to fertilize my plant. I will still be fertilizing the other 2 girls every once in a while with MG.

The ashes are burned and probably do not contain useful nutrients.. But it sounds like an interesting idea. I've thought about using water that is full of stems and clippings, so the THC get's absorbed. But I doubt that would work either :(

Damn pot head ideas.

Ashes actually have A LOT of nutrients. Like after a forest fire sometimes new baby plants are known to grow a foot (maybe more) because of the nutrient packed ashes, the lack of oxygen in the air, and the high temperatures that are present directly after a fire.

yes^^^^^..... do a lil more research...the indians have been doin it for hundreds of years...like burning the field after each crop to get ready for next year.....i think its kinds odd that the dispensaries carry mj ash too....but HEY....cool....

No they don't carry the ash. I buy a o, and blaze it and put the ashes from that on.

I'll let ya'll know if it works for sure. But I'm putting it on the plant that is already biggest by 2x...So it'll automatically be bigger than the others by default. And it's bagseed from Texas, so the qualities will probably be different to start with.

I have so far. I mean, by my thinking. And I plan on doing this every week. Only on one plant. And I don't burn it ALL the way to white. So there is still a fair amount left black, tasting gross.

And I just thought about it.
People (pagans) used to be THE BEST growers of plants. And they offered tobacco to every plant before harvesting it. And watering it was spiritually significant too. But, the tobacco was like "earth money".
So offering weed, that I'm spending real money on, and that it will become in the future. Probably has some significance. (Like how the stars aligning works)

resi? No resin, just ash. And I put it in a box first, then dump in dirt. But I guess you could say ashtray.
I'd like to think of it more like "Memorium of cremated relatives" Like tattoos for her. Nutrient tats.

I Believe the Correct way to do this would to put your after "Vaped" Weed. Not ash.

I've made 20+ batches of edibles with my jars of correctly stored vape weed..Half the time i just put 1/2 outed bowls.

They pack a punch, put you right to sleep at times..

However, Forcing your own plant to be a Cannibal!? Nonsense! haha jp

Good luck post pics for results

Alright, pics in the future for sure. My phone has been actin up all this month, but it has inspired me to get a real cam. So REAL pictures at the end of grow once I can get some money. And maybe I'll find a way to get the ones off my phone too.

I might just start vaping then. I have a vape, but for some reason enjoy smoking smoke more. I don't know why.
Even when I smoke cigarettes it's not an addiction, and I actually dropped them instantly this past 2 months. I just like to breathe smoke. But I am not in a great situation for smoking anything constantly. I do get away with a couple bowls an hour of MJ though.

Wood ash contains heavy metals, maybe from the las 100 years of leaded gas and chemical plants pumping toxins in our atmosphere .
