looks good for a seed hope its female!!! my supppossed female was male and im harvesting the pollen from it when it produces

that sucks ass. it should be a 50/50 chance but it seems whenever you get reg seeds its 90% male lol. from what ive seen here at least, but maybe thats only because we only hear about the bad things.

ive planted in my Super Lemon Haze right next to this one, should sprout within a couple days (couldnt be bothered paper toweling it, straight into soil in the same pot). ill update when it does.

A small camping tent with an oscillating fan would make a decent grow room if money/space is an issue..

couldnt be bothered using the paper towel germinating method, just straight in soil instead

and lol maybe not 90% but i just hear loads of stories where 5 were bought and 4 were males and such, but again, you only hear horror stories

ive got an oscillating fan and 2 lights in a flat white wardrobe thing next to my bed at the moment. its not so much money is the issue its just the stealth part, and having so many ideas and not sure where to go with it. what i know is the plant is starting to smell a little so soon im gonna need to sort something out. the wardrobe is not sealed as the cables need to be squeezed in, and i dont know whether i wanna cut holes in the front of the door (which is the only option i think as its like, got its on portion of the wall)

SLH sprouted! but im more focused on the bigger on for now. hows the lst coming along? have i got it right? i mean it is growing sideways instead of up so i guess there isnt much else to it.

My light was supposed to be here a week ago. When I messaged the woman on ebay she said im sorry my husband got called away to work and ive had no car. Cant be helped I guess but grr. Should arrive within a couple days though. Its important because it has timers and hangers in the package, which I need right now.

for those who didnt see my other thread, it was a 600 watt sunmaster light + ballast + reflector + yo yo ez hangers + timers all for £82 ($126)! including £12 delivery. cant say fairer than that for 600w.

only problem is dont really wanna use all that electricity for one plant - which is why i also hav 5 ak48 seeds coming.

sweet looking good. Did you end up keeping the 2700k lights? or did you swap to 6500ks? I have some 2700 and none of the 6500's at all, hoping you gave me some hope. Mine are kind of yellowing as the tips, probably nute burn from the nutes mixed with the soil, forgot to make they weren't in there... just want to make sure its not from the light spectrum.

I just have one 2700k and one 6500k at the moment. Im having so much trouble finding high powered 6500k cfls in shops, even online - in the uk. The ones that are there are extortionate, definitely not the cheap prices you americans get. the SLH is bending for the 2700k so its not too bad at all. maybe you should do 12/12 from as early as possible with your 2700s?

The roots are poking out the bottom which is maybe 10cm circumference. Should I be worried or is that ok? The pot just has a single hole in the bottom and the pots in a plastic container which I put water in for the first time today. I honestly didn't think its roots would fill up this pot so quickly. It's not a HUGE pot but the plant is only just 3 weeks old and under 40 fucking watts. Do I need to transplant?

went shopping, got some more bulb holders.. £2 a piece for something that should be 50p... oh well. the whole shop came to around £20 again for small items, homebase such a rip off. they were selling plastic watering pots for £8, like come the fuck on, its plastic... im gonna do any future shopping in poundland







shes being trained, im not liking how shes looking at the moment with leaves coming from all the stem joints, but i suppose thats what lst effectively is. looks like ball bags all over the plant.

Nice. I had good luck using zip ties with holes drilled in the top of the pots for pulling them down, easy to adjust, doesn't interfere with the plant at all.. Looks good! you are a little ways ahead of me!

yeah string is definitely difficult to work with as some people have said. ceramic pots leave me with very little choice but its all the garden store did. i got some plastic cable ties on that cable i bought, might use them a bit. do you have a thread up that i can check out? or feel free to post pics here would love to see

I hate to say it but you get what you pay for, it's not that bad but asthetic wise its pretty disappointing. I just re-checked the item and it said 'all new', yet theres dust and knots tied along the reflector as support. Dont know if theres any room to complain there. Plus the fucking reflector was sent all tied together and folded up, defeating the symmetry and looking like itll need to be hammered out. What the fuck? is it normal to not package reflectors in there useable state

What do you think though maybe im being a cynic

even though i only have one small plant and one seedling, i was thinking of going 12/12 on the big plant just to see if its female? so i know whether to kill it off and focus on the feminized one or not. thoughts?

Day 29, Month old

Oh dear its not fairing too well. Its been under 12/12 for a few days now under very low wattage due to there being delays with setting up my light fitting with the sockets above, which still arent really working. So its currently not getting the light it needs. Ive been giving it nutes with every watering, have only needed to water it twice in about the past week. first was half dose, couple days ago (when these pics were taken) i put a full dose in just to perk it up a bit. i think it worked but cant look right now as its dark period.

thoughts on whats wrong?

Anyone gonna help me out? I put it under the 600w for less than 2 hours and it looked so fucking sorry afterwards. Won't be doing that again without proper vents. The bottom leaves are the only ones yellowing and browning nearly entirely. A couple big leaves have yellowing on the tips. It can't really be nuteburn surely as I've not even had to water it much recently. Its not light burn from a 20w cfl. Could it be root circling? I don't know the symptoms for that but the tap root has been out the bottom of the pot for a while. I've been feeding it a little from the tray it's in. The growth and water intake has slowed down i think from 1 or 2 weeks ago which might be the light issue

I'd have to bitch about the condition of that reflector, if it did in fact state it was "new". Where's the ballast?

yeh kinda a bitch move and i couldve got a better deal to be honest and new. seems the brand goes cheap pretty much everywhere. ballast is under the reflector in 1st pic, its all too hot for my closet though and realized how expensive electricity is here so pretty much thinking of using the reflector to home a large cfl

Day 41 and its looking a bit disappointing, especially as its supposed to have been flowering for about 11 days. i guess the light leak (there is one but i thought it wouldnt reach the plants) is the cause. either that or the timers off...

no white pistils as far as i can see but here are pics



its in my wardrobe, im almost nocturnal so sometimes the lights will be on in the room during its sleeping period. its also in a 4 sided box with an open roof within the cupboard, but its by no means safe from light



heres the super lemon in the corner just gently ticking by. i was hoping to see if the big plant was male or female so i could focus more on the (feminized) SLH if biggie was a male, but looks like im gonna have to wait longer... christmas bud is probably off the agenda =(
