Hey Einiedytn I was over @ my buds house and he has an Oscar. We were sparking up
and he has this netting over the top of his aquarium. This cockroach was crawling along the very top of the netting and that damn oscar leaped out of the tank knocking off the
lid and landed on the floor. Damn cockroach got away. Can you imaging being ripped and watching that little hunting episode going on. He put the fish back in the tank, hes alright.

I feed my oscar crickets, so when I come to his tank with the Cricket tube and open the lid he's so damn excited he jumps out of the water. He hasn't made it to the floor yet, but he's working on it. My old lady won't even feed him anymore because she thinks that he's gonna take a finger off.

You need to get a larger tank for that man. It should be in a minimun of 50g. It really should have a better filter as well pushing more oxygen into the tank.Little to no upkeep on a beta. My girl has one and it is still alive...that's saying alot.

I do 30% water changes twice a week. I know the tank is too small. Thank you for your input.Yeah I know man...I was wondering how long it would be until someone called me out on it. My girl brought him home with a 10G tank not knowing what he would turn into. I went and bought that tank for the time being, and now he has outgrown it. Right now my Bearded Dragon is in the 55G, but we are getting a house soon. When that happens I'm going to make something custom for the BD, and put Red in the 55G where he belongs.

yeah I've previously used ro/di in the past for my grows.. I was using distilled then I just started using tap water phed to 6.5 today....
I went to a shop earlier and they had the fucking sickest tank it was a top less tank and it was setup so it actually overflowed the tank the stand was about 6" larger all the way around and then it was plumbed down to a sump/./ I took a pic with my cellphone I'm going to try and upload it in a bit and hopefully it comes out it was fucking awesome I'm going to build one like it...

If I do fish it's guppies; I've read that goldfish have too much ammonia in them. I had a guppie farm goin in the original 10g my girl bought, but I had to put that shit away because we just have too damn many animals now. I order 1000 crickets at a time online for my Bearded dragon, so I just feed those (along with pellets) to my Oscar.

I had a lot of Gold-fish too. Easy, unless you go Black Moors, and they can be picky.. But I love watching them grow.

Rufus is about a year old and pushing 14". That's from head to tip of tail. He would be longer but his tail was busted off when I got him. I pretty much rescued him from the pet store. They had him back in the corner, no light whatsoever, and he was all gimped up. I had to get him outta there.
