The aluminum foil is bad. You can get mylar cheap as hell and its exponentially better for light reflection. Aluminum foil mainly reflects heat. Obviously it does reflect light, but at a cost. Grab some mylar from a dollar store or you can use emergency blankets from wal mart. They prob cost more though.
Gunna look into some Mylar for the next grow box I make when she gets a lil bigger, I have a computer fan blowing on her so she dosent get too hot, nd the cfl hardly gives off any heat anyway

I'm kinda against cutting the plant, I'm probably gunna tie her down in a few days, and just keep doing that until she flowers.
If you wanna keep her really small and don't want to cut her, then do LST after she has 3 full nodes and train her all the way around a 5 gallon bucket. Then when she's flowering scrog at 1 and a half feet.
You're gonna have to do some cutting and pruning, it will be good for her, though =)
Oh if you don't know how to do LST or Scrogging let me know.

lol your going to want to transplant that plant asap before the roots get too big. Put that baby in a 5gal bucket and watch her takeoff. She looks healthy as hell. All i am hoping for is that the plant is a female bro otherwise sorry m8
most likely a fem seed if you found in a good bag. so you prob got a female

That'll work. Yea that foil is bad for them, but if it's only short term it should be fine. Especially since you have something breaking up the heat rays before they directly hit the plant.

You aren't supposed to use anything on your plants that is not made for FOOD use, since you will be putting it into your body. I am on my first grow but we have the proper setup and I bought a grow bible ($25 Barnes and Noble) and read that cover to cover before starting ANYTHING. Now we're got 6 clones vegging. I already dealt with spider mites withing a few days of having them. Made it through that and they are doing well. That grow bible REALLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY educated me on all the things you need to know before growing so that you can do it right the first time. Good luck!!

Some good things said here, but the food thing....not true. I wouldn't recommend eating nutrients or PH up/down, but they are a necessary part of most grows. I see what you're getting at, though.

I think you misread his post. From what I read molasses would play into his argument. Anything you COULDN'T eat is what hes talking about. A bit extreme lol. I can understand what he's getting at, though. No harsh shit.

Who said anything about Food?

I'm good on buying a grow bible, there's plenty of free information floating on the Internet already. Thank you for the suggestion though
