It seems to me that the gov. is trying to crack down on sick patients again. those damn sick people and thier damn healthy alternative to pharmactuicals (before u all rightfully jump my ass that was sarcasm). i thought id had it when they put a stop to the dispensaries here in az, but when i heard they wont let mmj cardholders have guns, well now ive really had it. but the reason for this post is not just to bitch. i want to sign up for a protest but idk where to do it. SO IF ANYONE OUT THERE IS TRYING TO START A PROTEST IN AZ IM IN. does anyone know if theres a common place where protests are organized in az?:hump::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

Read that!
Are you an unlawful user? NO
Are you Addicted? NO

Check that as NO
NO Problems

But gun dealers aren’t required to ask specifically about medical marijuana and, unless misused, it’s not something that would come up on the criminal background check.
Bullock suspects some medical marijuana users lie and are able to buy guns.
But unless they smell like pot or a medical marijuana card falls out of the customer’s wallet, what’s a dealer to do?
“I’m not going to sit here and interrogate them,” he said.
Both medical marijuana and firearms have widespread popularity in Genesee County. As of August, the state had approved 6,800 medical marijuana applications from residents here. And there were 15,000 people registered to carry a concealed weapon, which doesn’t even account for all gun owners.
The issue of medical marijuana and guns has come up at the Genesee County gun board, a collection of local law and government officials charged with deciding who can carry a concealed weapon.
This year, the board decided — by a 2-1 vote — to allow a 36-year-old medical marijuana user to keep his concealed weapon privileges. Those voting to allow the license did so based on assurance from the U.S. attorney’s office that it had no intention of prosecuting CCW holders violating federal law.
The Sept. 21 letter from the ATF was “really just a clarification” of the agency’s stance on the issue, said ATF spokesman Drew Wade.
The department had received several inquiries from licensed firearms dealers claiming customers were using medical marijuana cards as forms of identification.

I don't have a ccw personally. Just funny all we have is mmj.

They don't - Read the Constitution
But if you don't go with what they say they will lock you in a cage or kill you, so best to follow orders-

I want to either get an air gun or an antique black powder, I have heard anyone can own one, it this true? - Which would be more servicable and effective, and less questionable as far as regulations?
I saw a few nice air guns including a 50 cal, are they any good?

You didn't go hunting in a cage did you? People around here pay good money to shoot fenced in animals. I don't really consider it hunting.

Beardo, you should get a crossbow, they make some pretty bad ass ones.

All pre 1899 firearms are out of the jurisdiction of the Federal Government, you can mail them across state lines, purchase them in other states and bring them back to your state and the Fed has no idea. You can also go to a gun show and purchase a used firearm with plain simple cash, no need to show ID or do any background check, totally anonymous.

Newer black powder guns work extremely well and take only seconds to reload. They are deadly accurate at 100 Yards with sabot loads. Old ones are difficult.

Air guns are more for plinking tin cans, maybe squirrels too, but anything bigger is probably out of the question.

People don't hunt pheasant in caged areas as far as I know, pheasant can fly, so to a pheasant a really tall fence is nothing to get over. Deer are another thing, they do have cage hunts for deer and elk here, but I don't use them since the deer are plentiful enough in the outdoors. Saw four this morning while walking for the birds.

Crossbow are cool, but you can't hunt with them unless you are severely disabled in my state.

It's the same law in my state for crossbow, wasn't really thinking about the hunting part. Could make for a good quiet urban defense weapon though.

And yeah, they don't really hunt them in cages by me either but I've seen some trigger happy guys blast them the second they're released.
