In August, Fresno County's Board of Supervisors considered both sides of the issue. Ultimately, they passed an ordinance banning marijuana dispensaries and limiting grows to remote industrial areas. Dispensaries currently in operation have until March to shut down.

Okay, I see what you mean now.
In your earlier post, I thought you meant that the Feds had changed their minds and weren't coming till March now.
The Fresno ordeal, although terrible, was an action taken at the local/state level.
But if the Feds come in as promised, those dispensaries won't even make it to March anyways.

Ok, The law is the law And the Feds and ATF are what they are but it don't sound like this could hold a drop of water. What about all the people that legally owned Guns prior to gettin their Rec ? And it said Illegally used drugs. That in it's self is how one sees it. Im legal in my state and have a Rec so how would I be using Illegal drugs? I still Don't see a Penal code yet but will do some research later tonight. This sounds to me Like the ATF just threw this out there in the last couple of weeks as hearsay with no meat behind it. I would never shoot anyone for being in my backyard and ripping me off. My plants are caged in and you won't be stealing them very quickly as I call the cops for someone stealing my Legally grown MJ. Now If you kick down my door to hold me and my family at gun point while you take my MJ You won't make it past the first piece of glass to hit the floor or by the time the Dog has a chance to bark a second time.

Apparently if we use cannabis under state law in the USA, the Feds see you as a self identified criminal and drug addict, who has no rights, despite our constitution.

This is from the reagan revolution not our current puppet. Lots of folks in my area are happy about this because it jacks the price up. some will say they are evil for wanting the price up but they, like their parents before them, try to live off of their crop as the economy is dead here so I can understand but I really feel for the dying, cancer, handicapped people who rely on disp/co-ops for medicine that allows them a better quality of life.

Exacttly ! So I can be robbed and or killed in my home because I chose to abide by the law regardless if I grow/smoke or having anything to do with mj but hold a rec or go to prison possibly because I owned or had a firearm and got checked or had to use it ? Funny. We Are Slowly and ever more being infringed upon and not with just this subject. From where I still have left to ride my dirtbike wich ain't a lot to a place by a lake to camp free of charge with out a damn wilderness pass to a half breed president and my empty ass wallett I'm really wondering latley.

Sounds like I might be a criminal anymore ? I love our Military and think the wars recently fought were do right in most aspects. Maybe not done the right way in my opinion.

The Feds care about Federal Law, which states Cannabis is a Schedule 1 illicit drug, and because there is no public opinion to stop them (as what % of the population are registered MMJ users?) they'll just play the "Federal Law supersedes State Law" even tho it directly defies the 10th Amendment...but again what do I know?

Because technically under the law you are addicted to or dependant on a psychoactive drug which (along with being a felon) invalidates your Second Amendment rights.

I'm not to keen on all the laws, but how would the gov know if you were using the medicinal medicine all the time. So say your crop went bust and you had no meds you are clean can you carry a gun legally then? Your second ammendment would still be legit because you are not dependent on the drug. Exactly. At least with Reagan we knew where we stood. The current President secured votes based on his pledge to leave the MMJ alone. He has several major flip-flops. He is a walking contradiction.

He might argue that some of these dispensaries are operating outside the spirit of the local laws... so fine, it's still a State issue. Tell the States to deal with it.

I remember a vigorous no campaign on here...so tell me now, you reckon the Feds would be getting involved if it was fully legal in Cali?

It was voted down because of the corrupt lobbying going around the trying to rig a monopoly in the California mmj industry. They've been pretty successful in CO by requiring a bunch of bullshit with caregivers in the state. Meaning the laws favor the clubs and not the caregivers or patients as originally intended. Now I think they will come in and try to establish a system like that of here in CO. Where they can oversee and control everything within the industry using their favorite tactic, FEAR. Every employee and employer in the MMJ field in CO are required to be FBI backgound check, including bank records, taxes, law violations (every single contact by the police), pretty much anything they want to know. It opens an investigation into you that last 2 years or more.....they basically get you to trade your rights and privacy to work or even caregive in the industry.

The more investigating around town that I do on my own, the more something is becoming clear, the State asked the Fed to to this.
I not bullshiting, despite moratoriums and crackdowns, the State can no longer control the growth (ha-ha) of the Medicinal industry, specifically dispensaries.
Here in Sacramento they passed a moratorium on opening new clubs a couple of years ago, despite that, dozens of clubs have opened their doors since then.
Sacramento simply had no other way to enforce their own codes, so the Feds were asked to come in, or at least look like they were going to.
Because despite not fearing the local authorities powers, everybody still fears the Federal "put you in ass rape prison" Government.

So to simplify, what we're seeing play out is this:

Mother - Clean your room
Child - I'm not going to clean my room
Mother - Clean your room
Child - No
Mother - Clean your room or else

Mother - Okay, but just wait till your Father gets home

This has nothing to do with our civil liberties. Our biggest enemies are the profiteers and recreational users who have shamed themselves by taking advantage of a law meant to relieve the suffering of the seriously ill.

As a seriously ill patient who has spent a great deal of time seeking out a true non-profit collective, I can wholeheartedly say that the above statement is true. The "industry" is absolutely profit driven and in no way shape or form is representative of medical marijuana nor the Compassionate Use Act of 1996. Meds are not tested for contaminates, meds are routinely keifed rendering the buds useless as a medication, there is diversion to weed addicts and recreational users, and prices are astronomical.. there is no safe and affordable access whatsoever.

If after 45-days the oldest, most prolific profiteers are not shut down, then we'll know where the money trail begins and ends, for sure.

It's time to get the seriously ill some affordable relief safely and quickly, or it's over! Done. End o' story. No doubt, we should wake up today to ads begging the seriously ill to come in, get their meds, and support the facility. And yes, this does mean ridding the facilities of the recreational users who are not seriously ill in addition to ridding the facilities of the profiteers.

The average non profit worker makes an average of 50k a year ....
This has nothing to do with the small time growers ...or those who seek to make an honest living.
If you read the compasion act , than you will understand why this is happening.
The profiteers are taking advantage of the law and may ruin it for us all....

I can pretty much guarantee that some "dispensaries", the dispensaries that have corrupted medical marijuana badly with contaminated meds, keifed meds, profiteering, and illegal diversion to recreational users, are pulling 5k down on a slow day. Some places see hundreds of "patients" in one day, some places see hundreds of "patients" everyday!

Where is the money going? The money is going to the pofiteers and the corrupt attorneys who work with corrupt politicians and corrupt law enforcement to keep corrupt dispensaries open -- the same people who close down legitimate dispensaries...to keep the corrupt dispensaries open!

There only reasons obama has to act are; profiteering despite the ag's guidelines, continued *open* and illegal diversion to recreational users, and continued corrupt government who have an agenda to depopulate the planet to their benefit and sadistic satisfaction. The pharmaceutical companies are simply a branch of their insidious plan to depopulate the planet. It's kind of like the protesters protesting Wall Street, they need to protest the White House and the federal reserve, not Wall Street. We need to protest the false statement about marijuana in the CUA and we need to assert the DQA to get Prop 215 and hemp bills enforced.

On the bright side, the profiteers and corrupt government left and are leaving a long trail of corruption that will reveal how clearly medical marijuana has been infiltrated and subverted for profit. This nightmare is just about over!

I hate to sound like a broken record but here goes. The 10th Ammendment establishes a division between federal and state government, any state has the right to establish its' own laws. The federal government can not contravene these laws. The feds have gotten along all these years by passing wideranging laws illegally and going into states and raiding and arresting folks illegally. They get away with it because they ignore presidential directives, the Bill of Rights and generally run around like a pack of rabid dogs.
