I know I didn't kill them but is this bc I over did something or what? Some of the clones look great, some aren't growing, they seem stunned at where they are...did I do something wrong?

Based on the photo you have no plants.
yea if we could see them it would help ...... :bigjoint:

are they in dirt ?
what did you feed them? how much ?
how long did it take to turn purple from the time you fed it ?

sounds like a moisture prob.

Pic your image and hit upload. See if that works. I'll describe it better if u can't figure it out it took me fuckin forever

I have em all in rockwool... It's all really moist, I had clones and put them in rockwool, soaked it down first, waited a few days to make sure they weren't stressed, now I have em in 5 gallon buckets around rockwool...I went by the chart on my nutes( all house & garden) I measured lite so I didn't over nute, I didn't have a ppm meter till the day after I watered em. Turns out it was at around 850 ppm. I know that's high so I'm assuming that's why the stems turned purple. I just watered them with ph6.3 water the next day then deluged the nutes to about 400ppm then watered them again yesterday. Haven't watered with anything today. Rockwool still seems moist. So I didn't think it was necessary. Any ideas?

From what I understand he's trying to get his pics from his phone to this site not to his computer.. I don't see a problem with that? If you can track a picture from a phone you can track a picture from computer. I'm sure of it

I can put em on my computer, but don't have Internet yet. And yea, I turned my location services off. Just in case.

How often am I supposed to water with nutes...Dailey? I haven't been bc of the color. Some green is coming back but others look locked at that size and don't seem to be doing much

You dont own the pictures on your phone and should never take any pictures with your phone of any of your grow. Your cell phone company can see every single pic on your phone and by law they own the pictures. It is the same when you register your camara, I guess they are able to see what pictures you have on your camara when you register it and i guess it happens when you put the pics on your computer while you are online or it sends all the information the next time you go online. You have to be very careful with pictures on certain devices. Read the agreement of your cell phone and see what it says. So they can track the pictures from your cel phone

I

I never would have thought that far into it. I had all kinds of pics in my phone, I don't really see that being possible, but I deleted em anyways. Haha. I would think that was an invasion of privacy, all the pics I have of all kinds of crazy things. I dunno. Regardless, I shouldn't have RIU type pics in my phone in case it were to ever get misplaced...or in the wrong hands.

But back to the topic....any ideas about my purple plants?

Here's a cloning technique that works great for me.

1) Make your cut
2) Dip the cutting in rooting gel - remove any excess gel so the cutting does not suffocate.
3) Gently push the stem into pre-soaked rockwool cubes. I pre soak in pH 4.5 to 5.5 water for 24 hours. Don't forget to take off the plastic from the rockwool cube. Gently pack the rockwool around the stem to seal it.
4) Spray the inside of the clone dome with distilled water. Do not spray the cuttings themselves as this can encourage powdery mildew. Continue to spray the inside of the dome daily. Removing the lid once a day to do this will also exchange the air. Keep the rockwool cubes moist but not soggy.
5) Put the dome under fluoro light. Low light is all that is needed for now. Don't blast them with HID's
6) Leave the dome lid on for 3 days. Prop the lid up on one side on the 4th day. If any wilt occurs, put the lid back on for another day.
7) Remove dome lid after the 5th day.
8) Roots should appear after 10 days.
If the lower leaves start to turn yellow and die - don't freak. That is the plant feeding off itself by moving water and nutes downstairs to the root area where all the action is taking place.
Don't remove yellow or dead leaves until the clone is well rooted. Now you can transplant and move into your veg area. I water with a weak nutrient (50-220ppm) solution every other day until new leaves appear.

My stems go purple also, they always green up later so I don't worry.

One of those things I never really thought about. Curious now though, if there is a nutrient problem the purple is indicating I would not be adverse to correcting it.

OK, I'm back. I went over and checked out my vegging plants. The older fan leaves have purple stems as do the lower branches. Newer growth higher on the plant is coming out green. 8" plants, the sativa is much greener than the indica. I consider this normal as all the grows I do have these symptoms.
The 5" plants still have a dusting of purple on the upper stems, way lighter than the lower stems and fading. The 1" runt is all purple except the leaves themselves, 2 sets.
I found this picture I took to illustrate size differences. The purple shows on the big fan leaves, the center baby fan growing out of the top is green on the stem, this doesn't show well.

If Pearl00S4 posts a pic and they look like mine I will take a better pic also, no point if they are different.

Thanks for your concern. But your wrong sorry, no one owns my pics but me.. that would be invasion of privacy.. its a cell phone company, not the DEA.

Have you ever gone through a computer to see how much information goes from computer to microsoft or apple? Where do you think microsoft gets all their information from? Nothing in private anymore. I can give you my hard drive with 2200+ complete albums and you can put it on the computer and microsoft would know unless you would block it. I am not here to argue with you, if you dont believe me fine and if you want to do your research than look it up but dont argue with me.

Seems like every time my plants get purple stems I am running the nutes too hot... when I see purple stems bad things happen not too later in plants stages. I back the nutes down a tad and she greens back up and all is good.
