Ok guys! I cut a small hole in each one and then poked 4 holes in the bottom with a thumb tack! I have them all transplanted now. I watered with RO water until I saw some run off and put them into the germination box with the dome on! Got some light on them and out a damp paper towel in there with them. I will post some pictures as soon as they get to my email. There was a ton of roots at the bottom of each root! I think they were really looking for more room. Maybe this is why the cotyledons leaves were starting to droop a little bit? Well, now I will wait for them to get dry and water again! thanks all

i'd make the hole a bit bigger. think of a pencil and make the hole about that size or a bit smaller.

Well I cut a hole about the size of a pencil eraser on the bottom and then poked those small holed just for a bit extra.

I just transfered some rooted seedlings into the red party cups with Ocean Forest soil by Fox farm and I made 3 holes like a triangle with a drill bit.

I'd just take a razor and cut a 'cross' in the bottom...pin holes won't work because surface tension won't allow water through. Holes at least a 1/4 inch are needed.

Yeah I put 3 holes about 1/4 '' in my cups made a triangle shape.

Will do. Also, I am having a bit of an issue keeping the humidity up and was wondering if I should take them out of the dome and just run a humidifier in the tent? I got the temp controlled now and its between 78-84 now, moving the light an inch helped a lot. Jw if that would be a better idea I guess. Thanks

How low is it? If the seedlings aren't showing any signs of stress from it you might be able to open them up to the atmosphere sooner than later.

I can keep the humidity at about 35% ignition re-wet the wash cloth every 30 minutes!! That's why I think it might be better to run the humidifier instead. I just want my girls to be happy

I wouldnt even sweat it dude I stopped using the dome years ago didnt make a difference right now I have like 4 rooted seedlings in party cups with Fox Farms Ocean temps are about 75 -80 degrees and humidity is 25%

.....it is not vital for the humidity to be so high....but it is ideal.....so if you want, run the humidifier in your tent.....just make sure to keep it away from your seedlings.....idk what type of humidifier you have but I have the ultrasonic type.....I put it too close to the plants....came back a few hours later and all my plants getting hit by the fog were droopy....the fog suffocated them.......as long as the fog isn't hitting them directly they will be fine....I wonder why your washcloth is drying out so fast....I have some seedlings under a dome right now and I have a wet sock in there......I wet it like 5 days ago and it is still really wet.....

yep. imo run it. just check the temps as it will likely be adding heat as well. if u can get fourty percent plus i would just remove the dome entirely

Well the wash cloth stays wet but doesn't seem to effect the humidity at all after an hour or so it settles at about 28% and stays there. Starting to wonder if my hygrometer is just not reading correctly? I was planning on getting the cool mist humidifier I saw at Walgreens. Do you think I would have better luck misting inside the dome with RO water every once in a while? To dome or not to dome haha! Thanks everyone. I would keep the temp below 78 degrees unless you are running sativa dom strains...

All strains are heavier on the indica side. I have problems keeping the temp down while they are in the dome.. Temp inside the tent is about 76-78 depending on what time it is. Just inside the dome is hotter.

They look good.....don't stress the little things.....they are growing just fine...maybe your hygrometer is off.....I doubt the humidity is that low in there with damp soil and wash cloth..........I have had a few hygrometers be off...just let them be....as long as they look happy (and they do look happy) don't worry.....they are better off left alone.....
