It always makes me feel better to hear they look good from the more tenured growers! Thank you! I think I will get them to about 12" or so, I don't want to end up with plants I can't handle! I got my bulb in from HTGsupply today and it works thankfully! I put a cool mist humidifier in the tent today for sh*ts and giggles, sealed the hood now that I have the bulb (now the exhaust is going from tent-filter-hood-and out) I removed the dome from the girls and made sure the fans were pushing heat away from them and have the t5's about 3"-5" away from the girls. They seem to be good :) on another note I only checked them about two times yesterday so I am getting past the urge to check them every 30 minutes! Haha hope everyone is having a good day!

Hahaha Yeah....I remember I used to be the same way.....now I just forget about them.....I still spend a lot of time in my grow rooms but not because I am checking on them.....there is always something that has to been done in there......

Haha I'm not sure that my room NEEDS thing done but I can definitely think of things that I make myself believe need to be done!! I put a cfl next to the Cole train to help her out. Her leaves look nice now and I think she is going to make it. Just realized today my digital timer hasn't been working so they have been on a 24/0 schedule right now. I went and got a mechanical one today so that will be fixed. Should I run 20/4 or 18/6 I read a lot of mixed opinions on this.

18/6 is best if your not in a huge rush, dark periods help root growth. Some like 24/0 because it gets the plant to flower quickest.

I do 24/7 in winter and 18/6 during summer........keeps my temps in check.....as far as growth goes I really don't know which is best but I really don't give it much thought as long as they look healthy...

24 hours ON... There is no difference in the long run... Unless you are trying to save electricity...
No need for timers in on 24 hours

Im not trying to save electricity, well at least not with this t5 setup! I may change what I say when I run the 600w bulb haha.

I went to water and ice today to get some gallons of water so I can have some to refill and pre mixed a gallon so its ready to go! Thanks for pointing out what to use, its about half of what they say to use haha
