Well at least we can attempt to hold the government responsible! insurance companies and hospitals do whatever the fuck they want to their customers ( thats what the exec's see us as, instead of patients). I honestly would rather pay out the ass in taxes like other developed nations for healthcare that is actually in line with the times. Our healthcare system sucks cock, and thats just because its more of a business than it should be. It should be about helping your fellow sick american, not raping their paycheck until they go into debt. i would gladly pay more in taxes to recieve the healthcare i need, when i need it - without going broke, as well as to see my fellow american recieving the same care.

The gov. should care for it's people, I know they can't supply everything, but health , yes.. healthROFL... let me ask you this... why would you want the GOVERNMENT being in control of your healthcare? FUCK... they can't even manage the few programs they do run (medicare, medicaid etc.) and you want to let them have control over your healthcare? Personally I don't want to pay for someone else's healthcare... I already work to pay for my own... and THEN some! Most states already have programs in place to pay for the most needy. I work... I pay for my coverage... do I want to pay EVEN more so people who are too stupid to use birth control and spit out 10 babies they can't afford can have coverage? NO I DON'T!

I've worked in the industry over 15 years... I work in IT (info. tech) and no I'm not getting rich or even close off the industry. A few of my family members also work in the healthcare industry.... and no they aren't getting rich or even close either. I never said I was an "expert"... just that I've worked in it long enough to know how the system works.... yes healthcare is a CASH COW industry... because people will ALWAYS be sick and ALWAYS need care.
Healthcare isn't FREE.... and it never will be.... but letting the Government control it is tantamount to letting the wolf guard the heard of sheep.
