Since you mention it, please post some pics of your plants. I tried searching, but didn't find any. Perhaps there's a thread I missed? Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing what it is that you're harvesting. Fair is fair. Thanks! Why would i go there to help you grow good cannabis when i can stay here and do it????????
Ahhh... Mr.Experience has never even heard of IC. Where are the pics of your plants?that site you mentened they all say flushing is good... LOL but on this forum they say its bad... lol
Sometimes my dog gets a hold of some of my kief peanut butter. She's gone for a least a day. lolPersonally I feel the resin/THC/cannabinoid production is for protection, sending any animal who snacks on it into an interestingly horrible day in the animal kingdom. Although if any of you have ever seen those African animals eating fermented fruit and they all start partying and passing out, this could recreational to animals and we are ruining thier fun
The psychoactive properties of the strain, itself, are more of a determinate than the shading of the trichs, all thing being equal. Personally, I harvest when most are cloudy, when their heads are "full" (a subjective, relative observation) and when the flowers look done (another subjective, relative observation).hello, getting ready to harvest my first grow, ended up with three budding plants. I've got a couple of questions if any can help me out, much appreciated. #1) First, I'd like some clearity on the trichomes, you generally want to harvest when the trics have all turned milky white and are barely(10-33%) turning amber if you want a "head" high, if you want that couch lock you want to harvest when the trics are about 50-65% amber???
This is the only way know if product is actually curing:What is the most effective curing process, I live in a hot and dry place so drying may be about 7-10 days, is jaring it the next best step or should bag it then jar it or is there another process that is better to for curing? I am not worried about speed but I'd like to smoke the stuff with in a 4-5 weeks.

when they swell and the hairs recede, , cloudy white with alittle amber is a good time to harvest.By flowers, is that also known as the calyxes? and by being done, do you mean swollen appearance, a little bit of white at the base of the hairs, and before the hairs turn dark brown and kind of dried up shribble looking? Also obviously assessing the following as well as trichome color and fullness, I should be able to hit that 6-8day window of 100%ripeness. If you can elaborate on what they mean by swollen though? I have noticed that in the last 5 days they, extensions of the top buds, almost a flower shape, have been growing out and up from the top bud, as the buds are gaining weight pretty fast, all the other parts of the bud getting 'filled' out as well, so is this what they mean by swollen? Also I am at about week 10-11 flowering and my buds have been showing the previous signs I described plus the trichs are mostly cloudy white, and no amber so far that I can see with a 40x lens, question is does the trichomes age a bit after you harvest during drying or water curing?
The placebo effect will work in any world.....Myths that work in real world are not myths. fyi
Do you think the plants die immediately after you cut them down? Yes of course the trics mature after you cut them down, a simple way is to use your microscope and check yourself before trying to tell people otherwise. Also if you harvest at amber it's too late, by the time they're dried and cured they'll almost all be amber and you'll never know what that strain was actually supposed to be like cos you'll have lost 95% of your THC.when they swell and the hairs recede, , cloudy white with alittle amber is a good time to harvest.
I dont think they age after harvest, But i dont know for sure
Seems to me like all you do on this forum is talk down to people; try to belittle people; claim that you are an expert in everything when you only started growing a year ago; and generally just try and start shit. Plus seems funny how you always show up in the same threads as SimonD and it's always the same thing; you two jumping down someones throat and screaming you wanna see pics. It's a shame you haven't learned to have a civilized conversation yet. I'm sure you'll make up some story about me and curse me out as well but I don't care because I rarely come to this sub forum and I could care less what you think of me.Do you think the plants die immediately after you cut them down? You even finished that first grow yet? Still no pics months after the flushing thread...Im still not believing your story until we see those pics...
