Hey Matt. Gotta tap your fountain of knowledge... I bought a bag of worm castings today small 5 litre bag for 5 bucks. I was thinking of top dressing with it.. is that a good idea or a waste of time at this point since I'm in flowering and using all my flowering nutrients etc..

Should I save the bag and just mix them in with my next batch of soil?

at this question i will let Gastanker answer, he is a much more experienced organic grower and he probally be able to give a better answer than me.

now my answer: use some of the bag and top fert, when you water this will create a sort of "tea" save most of the bag for next grow and mix it.

the thing about organics is you are baisicly creating a mini compost in your plant pots so for the fert to work it needs to be broken down. i dont know if your chem nutes are killing the micro organisms in the soil or not. if they arent then you will be good :) gas will hop in and answer this better

Thanks.. I'm using an organic line of nutrients. General Organics line... so hopefully won't have those issues. I'll try top dressing with it at next watering. can't hurt I suppose

EWC have lnot too much N but its mostly all water soluble so I wouldn't use to much in flower unless you have a deficiency. Your bottled line should have enough N to carry it through. You could however boost your micros by watering with a weak well aerated EWC tea.

60 an 8th all day everyday here for fire. A few guys get away with doing straight 20$ a gram. Glad those days will be behind us soon!!

the shit i bought is brown weed, has always been 25 an 1/8th

60$ an 1/8th i would go without, it lasts me a while but still too expensive. hell for the price i pay for a 1/2 Oz @60 an 1/8th i could fund a pretty sweet grow lol

well last night i ran a couple gallons of water through my worm compost bin and this is the results.

IMG_3146.jpgIMG_3147.jpgIMG_3148.jpg

not sure whats in this stuff, probally not much great as my worm bin is not that old yet and i only have 72 worms working in there right now. but im sure there is some goodies for my plants so im going to water them with this nasty brown liquid and see how they take to it :)

Yeah i go to school up in Duluth and I can get it for $50 an eighth, but I'm on break and in my hometown nobody sells anything but $20 a G, so I am holding of smoking 'til I get back to somewhat better prices.. It sucks because for months I've been smoking daily but oh well.. That's why growing is so lucrative because I won't have to deal with these outrageous prices.

P.S. Matt I like today's update haha!!

thanks!!! yeah i guess 25 an 1/8th isnt too bad compared to what you guys pay, i wish i could do some serious growing and at least change the quality of the weed up here but not the price. could seel my stuff to the dealers for 20 an 1/8th and they could sell for 30 an 1/8th but sell better stuff. i would make 2.5k$ a Lb

but unfortunatly im not into selling it, its for personal/medical use so these small time grows are perfect for me :)

UPDATE:

nothing has changed lol
Hahaha, you're such a post whore :p

BTW, where I'm at...... it's $50 an 1/8th. Always has been except when gas prices went sky high then the shit went to $60-$70! Greedy bastards!! I once had a kid tell me it was $55 and I told him where to shove the extra 5 duckets!!

Oh... and how's the cucumber? Lol I've been thinking about growing something else on my window sill.
