But you are acting the way you were told you were acting. Just don't care about people's negative views.. there is no escaping judgment, but you have the option to just not give a shit about everyones judgment. I'm not saying to drop all manners and be a dick because you don't care, I'm just saying have no worries (and in doing so, you won't be desperate).

i didnt even think what i did counted as it.... but now that im just kinda down im like "fuck he thinks your desperate, he thinks your desperate, he wont believe you if you tell him you care because he thinks you're desperate for anyone"
idk, im just in a bad place right now, some one died today and so im just thinking of horrible shit

eh basically it was between two instances, one was the first night we hung out together, the first kiss etc... next day told me i was desperate. then a few months later (same guy ive been seeing since may) tells me that even though we havent seen each other in a long time he cant quite afford to come and see me. I had some extra cash on me at the time and I felt guilty about the expenses he always racked up coming to see me, so i offered to pay for his gas.
called me desperate again.
maybe I am

Honestly, he sounds like a complete asshole with a dick up his ass... IMO.

You're not desperate in that situation (unless you keep asking when he's gonna see you and he has to keep making excuses), but just leave him before you do become desperate. You're just wasting your time with that little kid lol.

I don't think the last part is desperate at all. It's just being nice. This guy is a jerk. You seem nice. If you are having strong feelings for him early on, just take a quick step back and take a breather and realize you're probably just a person who gets invested emotionally pretty easily. I'm confused how the first situation was a situation of desperation as well, but if you said something to him that was a bit much perhaps he could have been put off (being a first kiss etc). Still, seems like a jerk to me (I'd just be flattered and take it into account if you did say something that might be construed as a bit much for a first kiss and either end it with you and run with whatever it was you said, for the record, and I consider myself not such a jerk, although I am a bit biased). You can do better.

You made the thread so it stands to reason you want the truth. Your actions on this board are what i consider a desperate need for attention. Half of your threads seem to me to have zero credibility or reason for existence other than for the purpose of gaining responses.
