try a base which does not have as many ph buffers. i found that GH is pretty stable for example, while fox farm is always very low when i used it.
these fox farm nutes do get hella low but its really the beastie bloomz that i add that makes it dive down, it happens with Advaned and im sure it happen with my new CES stuff, but we will see...

i found when i switched my base to gh from fox farm the ph did not swing as much. i still use the fox farm solubles though they are the shit.

You have a very good point. Most organic base nutrients tend to run a low ph. Changing your base nutes might have an overall change. Are you in soil or hydro? I've always noticed my ph to be fairly low when going to feed my plants, but the run off is always in the 5.9-6.3 range.

I used GH exclusively for 2 years in DWC good stuff heavy in salts but good for the price you pay. I always used FLoralicious plus with my GH nutes because the floralicous would be my " sweet spot" after I added that the PH was set at 5.7 rarely did I use and PH up / PH Down.

I finally found it! Yay me! Good article with good info
i found this part may apply to your problem:
Coir fibre needs to be avoided as well – samples we have seen on the US market vary considerably in terms of quality, some major brands have problems with Nitrogen draw down, calcium and phosphorus retention, high CEC, high sodium, massive amounts of potassium.

did you pretreat your coco at all i find that coco likes to suck up the cal mag so it is not available to the plants. pretreating with a calmag solution helps diminish this effect.

soil in one room coco in the other, for soil my run off usually is the same as the ph'd water i put into it...

I have been using coco for awhile!

Your problem likely is "precharing" the coco.. Coco does not retain any nutrients. It is simply a medium like rockwool!.

I have been using Tap water for ever with pure coco coir and NOT pretreating it at all.. Never one problem.. It is the connoisseur mix you are making.. Too many folks over Nute their crop. If you are reading the bottle and going by the recommendations There is your problem...

Use plain Ol' water to get the coco ready! Never buy bags of coco always buy bricks!

Another conclusion..
You are likely using other mediums that do retain nutrients and you are over fertilizing! Tit for Tat!
I would start with a different mix on the nutrients... Cut it down by HALF... See what happens!

Coco is a calmag whore. I think you are the first person to say that coco isn't.

I found GO Calmag to be a little weak. I use the heavy feeding all the time with it. I normally make my own calmag solution with an organic calcium additive and epsom salts. Just mix some salt with water in a cup until 5ml would equal 150ppm, then I would add 100ppm of calcium and you got a cheap calmag solution. I use Mad Farmer Calcium but I haven't been able to find it here

I'm buying Canna Coco bags this go round seems to be pretty good stuff. I have used the bricks in the past with success. I stil precharge my coco for some reason it works for me because I never add cal/mag through my grow.

So how would you feel if you realized you ran your whole last grow under a MH instead of using a HPS for flower? Yeah, that’s how I feel too!
:dunce:
