What makes you say that? I was thinking of trying one but your comment gives me pause. Since the lights are so new and people aren't familiar with the technology, I can understand people being hesitant to drop $800 just to try something. Also there is only one journal going with the Inda-Gro 420 over at icmag but it's just finishing veg. If you have valid reasons that lead you to believe they are not doing what they claim i.e. manufacturing the lights in the US, or making lights of poor quality, I'd love to know before I spend the $$$. I hope they are who they say they are. I do like their videos on youtube, and have found them informative.yeah, their company is near my house, I visited their facilities before. I think they are just trying to unload a bunch of Chinese lighting. Will wait to see good results till then...
I would like to know how you do with it as wellIm curious too. Especially since I already own one. My experience with the company was a positive one. They answered my questions and shipped as expected. It's a high quality light. The frame and ballast box are all powder coated and it looks very nice.(and it says made in USA) As for performance, we'll see... I've mentioned in another thread that I'm seeing some very positive signs. It seems like my garden is under a constant transformation these days so I'm not able to run a side by side comparison. I'll keep you updated RedOctober.
Cool! thanks cgally! How far into your grow are you? Veg? Flower? It seemed like a good light from the videos, but without having one in my hands, who knows. When all's said and done it probably is about the same price as an HPS if you factor bulb, ballast, hood, ducting and such. Not to mention the nice air conditioning/cooling bill you'll be getting with an HPS. I might just go ahead and try one...what they hell, how much worse than a 600W HPS could it be?Im curious too. Well, back to the drawing board I guess lol! Thanks for the input 711. Perhaps they will eventually come out with higher wattage models that can perform comparably to HPS. I think I'm gonna go LED for now. Though they are pricey, HPS are such a headache in so many ways, and I think LED are about at the point where they can deliver quite similar results to HPS. Sorry to hear they didn't work out for you 711. Did you go back to HPS then?i had 2 of the 400 pro models. i can testify that 2 of the 400 models dont come anywhere close to a single 1000 watt hps. i do believe they have a place. like in a tent or with a situation that has severe heat issues. the quality of the product was nice. in fact i would say even a little better then the hps but in no way shape or form could it out produce the weight that a 1000 watt hps brings. i was somewhat disappointed with them because i bought them to help reduce heat yet still be on par with a 1000 watt hps. maybe the new 420 model can pack some weight on the product but for me it was an expensive experiment. if your looking for about .3 to .5 g per watt and want a nice quality product with far less heat then i would suggest these but if you want weight your not gonna get it without some serious scrogging or something. just my 2 cents before you shell out a bunch of cash on these...
