Yeah I am kinda like u I'm that thinking why did I mess around and get all dirty. I mean its not that complicated and growth rate is rediculous, especially in flower. I ran 1 bucket my first round the second I have 5.
oh and great looking grow, can't wait to see the results.
I hear you man! I'm already planning more plants this way.

Any of you guys use a chiller? I'm thinking I'd better get one before summer, maybe even before I flower this one.

I don't want to shit on your parade or anything but I have read alot on RIU that DP blueberry hermies alot. No worries may have been the growers! I would just keep an eye on those!

Nice grow so far. I've been wanting to grow a blueberry strain for years now, can't wait to see how she turns out! Best of luck!

As for the chiller, it all depends on your rez temps. Get a cheap aquarium thermometer and start checking the temps. I grow in DWC 5 gallon buckets as well and i've never needed a chiller...

Funny you say that. The one in flower has hermed, but it did go through some crazy light stress. I'm surprised the whole room didn't hermie.

Good luck with that bubblegum hunt!

Five days later. She's taller than the bucket now, and larger around.

I'm a perpetual grower and am always rotating in new strains and discontinuing others, so I don't really have a flowering schedule. I just keep enough going so that when theres a hole in the flower room I can pick whoever is the most ready.

I think Blueberry will have to go next or it will get way too big by the next window of opportunity.

I added 1gal of nutes to effectively double the strength. It was 425ppm and now is around 875, ph to 5.9, 73f. Res is crystal clear.

Plant looks really healthy with big thick stems. Roots look awesome! I think I like having more direct control over the plant than soil. And the growth rate!

Hey man she looks big, green and happy! I would love to do a DWC but I am running anywhere from 20-30 plants at a time and I don't have that many plugs! Maybe Ill give it a go on one plant just to experiment? Those roots look nice brotha!

Those roots look way healthy! :) And yes DP Blueberry easily hermies: stress, light leaks all seem to freak it out. If you end up with a few seeds, no biggie. Some of the hermie seeds from mine (DP feminized BTW) were ginormous! As big or bigger than regular seeds. But the flavor of that BB through the bubbler attachment on my Vapor Brothers vape...simply wow!

Had the same thing dp fem blueberry a late showing of male banannas with only a very little seed set i think because they appear so late into flowering they dont get a chance to set and grew those seeds out with the same result a late showing of male flowers not the end of the world but not ideal either.

I'm feeding her a mix of leftover nutes : Advanced Nutrients Micro and Bloom, General Hydroponics Grow, and regular strength hydrogen peroxide.

I was top feeding for 15 minutes every 6 hours in veg.

She clones well, the plant in this thread is a clone from my seed started organic Blueberry.

Nice to see Captcaveman. Did you order off the net? I got my DP BB non fem from the net! Got lucky with the first one and got a F. I made a mom of it and took clones from her. This is 5 weeks in flower with a 4 week veg. They are in a ProGrow system and running DM Gold Nutes! Really happy with results so far. I also used Reverse to help with any hermie. We will see. That is a close up and the two in back are BB. The two in front are WW.

Been a bit since the last update. I've been busy with school and harvesting.

Here's Blueberry on the way to her 24 hours of darkness. I cut some clones from her on the way. I even cut a couple big ones that I didn't expect to survive because the stem was not solid - it was hollow.

Yes, I got the seed from Attitude.

I'll have to keep that reverse in mind for the future, I've heard good things about it. Hopefully I wont need it.

Your plants look happy! The frost is coming in nicely on that bud.

Here's some pics on the way to flower.

I decided to use this tub I had from when I first started growing for a resevoir. It will hold more water and has a larger area of contact with the cold concrete floor, both will help keep the water temp down.

Due to the run and rise of the feeder tube nutrient sloution does not run very fast, so I'm running it always on now. This helps keep the plants roots cool too, I hope.
